It was quiet and Peter and Marie were very friendly and helpful. Although we had our room serviced after we had said we didn’t want it serviced. But otherwise it was a beautiful place to stay and very comfortable rooms.

Loved the old world charm of this beautiful home and the hosts Peter and Marie were delightful. Rooms were large and airy with modern updates where required. Enjoyed dinner out only minutes drive from this lovely place.

The 1914 appeal of the house , the history, the hosts make you feel very welcome , our room was a suite with king bed and sitting area plus a verandah you could sit out on as well as other sitting areas around the house , ensuite in every room , would def stay again 😀

Spacious comfortable stay
Spacious comfortable accommodation. Friendly hosts with helpful tips for dining. Included breakfast was a bonus although only a basic continental breakfast.

Cumquat house stay
Our stay was very comfortable and Peter and Marie were lovely hosts The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was also good.

An extremely comfortable room with exceptional facilities e.g coffee pod machine, daily home made biscuits. Complimentary breakfast served daily by the owner that left you full for the day. I thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect stay!
Our stay at Cumquat House was the perfect B&B experience. A beautiful historic home and Peter and Marie are wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to make their guests welcome. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and being served in the dining room was like having breakfast with family. A really lovely experience.

We had a very comfortable stay. Bed was comfy and we slept very well. Hosts were friendly, provided a nice breakfast and were not in your face, meaning they respected your privacy. A good no hassle stay with good parking on the premises.
