Road works on the side street of our allocated unit during the night made for a less than restful night. Accommodation was close to supermarket and Westfields shopping centre. Good location near airport for one overnight stay in Brisbane.

Like that it is closest to the Prince Charles hospital where I had to go with my son. Didn’t like they suspended the provision of cooked breakfasts in the dining room, only packets of cereal, milk and fruit pieces available at reception to take to the room.

I liked the fact that it was one minute walk form the St. Vincent Hospital, could stay late visiting and it was perfectly safe to get home on foot. Liked the continental breakfast. Liked that you could arrive early and have bags looked after. Wonderful guest lounge where you can wait until your room is ready, have a cup of coffee, relax and watch television if you so desire.

We had a nicely appointed large room. The breakfast was the only disappointment. A very limited offering: no bread to toast or any fresh fruit so insufficient for anyone

Property lacks any charm. Ridiculous breakfast options. Mould in bathroom. Checked in for two nights was allotted apartment 0n level one facing main road very noisy I understand if property is heavily booked but had very low occupancy.

Amazing property and staff
I stayed for the day before and day of my wedding and the staff were amazing! Not only did they give me a beautiful bottle of wine and candle they all wanted to see me and my bridesmaids before we left for the wedding and we’re so lovely and kind. The rooms are beautiful, awesome location and a great price. I can’t recommend Essence apartments enough and would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff - they’re so super friendly 😀

The build is well kept. The staff we encountered were helpful, courteous and friendly. Our room was very clean, spacious, well equipped with a well appointed bathroom, kitchen and general layout. Secure onsite parking at no additional cost was an added bonus. Thanks Essence team!!
