Convenient, clean, comfortable hotel

Posted May 11, 2016
Pros: really convenient with free parking
Cons: desk in room.
Good rooms with free parking (though takes a while to drive down 4 levels) and supermarket, cafes, hotels and the Gabba sportsground all nearby. Feels a bit utilitarian in the corridors and rooms but bed and shower are great and a kettle, fridge, cutlery, plates are provided so easy to have takeaways. Only gripe about the room was lack of a desk/table that could be used for work and no wifi in rooms (internet but you had to provide your own cable - who carries those anymore?)

Close to the Gabba

Posted Apr 20, 2016 on Wotif
Basic hotel near the Gabba. Coles, good coffee, takeaway restaurants underneath. Under cover parking. Reception only on site 9-5. Made late 8pm check in a bit tedious. Not easy to find lift and access lift from car park.

Great apartments for business trips

Posted Apr 18, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: the location was great and the facilities where clean and well maintained The reception staff were professional, polite and friendly.
Cons: The dryer door didn't close, so had to air dry in room :( Parking on the weekends is a little bit limited
Location: Easy access to city and within walking distance of many places to eat
Stayed for a couple of nights in a studio, that was quite, clean, and spacious!

Convenient to the Gabba.

Posted Apr 18, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: Convenience to the Gabba with supermarket close by and free parking.
Cons: Obviously a supervisor needs to check that the rooms are clean and presentable, and the bed needs replacing. An easy chair would be a bonus.
Location: Just across the road from the Gabba.
Our first stay at this hotel was to attend the football at the Gabba, and it was only a short walk which made it very convenient. The studio itself though was disappointing. Sheets were clean, but the bed was so soft it gave me a bad back. The carpet was dirty, and TV cabinet had so much dust on it that it was actually starting to clump. Grate over the shower looked like it had never been cleaned, and the cutlery drawer had brown liquid in it so we had to wash everything before using. The freezer in the fridge was completely iced up. Hard to believe that there is obviously no quality control in this day and age.

Pros: Staff
Cons: Cords
Location: Gabba eating
Cords in my room were a pain run across the room to TV and Internet cord run straight across the hallway to the toilet which was a tripping hazard at night

Liked the size of the apartment. Aircon not great. Kitchen cooking esp oven not clean.
