Room was nice & modern, comfortable and very quiet considering it was on the ground floor next to a busy road (although the heavy doors bang in the morning) Great value for money. The only things that could be improved on is their policy of putting a credit card hold for $150 - well not so much that as it's reasonable, but that it takes 3 x business days to be released. Also, the room service menu was a bit lacking & the reception staff seemed a bit young & lacking in genuine customer service (although I might have caught them on a bad day). But otherwise a nice, well located & quiet hotel.

So pleased you found Hotel Chino to be modern, clean & quiet in a great location and good value for money - all very important criteria.
In terms of the pre-authoriation - we cancel all pre-auth's after each guest departs. Different banks have different timelines for lifting the holds - it is not us - we are very diligent in processing the cancellations. It's a shame it reflects on us.
Our menus are undergoing a change at present and we take on board your comments re the room service menu. We apologize sincerely that our receptionist seemed quiet - we pride ourselves on our customer service and we will ensure more training to our trainee.
We hope you return to our "nice, well located quiet hotel" - maybe in 2017.
