Close to town.

Can't fault the staff or the location. Funny smell on our floor that reminded me of Thailand though. Not as pungent after airing our room for a few hours.

short stay in central Brisbane

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Cost and wifi
Location: lots of good shopping and some good restauants; Jamie Oliver in particular
Initial room smelled of cooked fish. Staff were able to find similar room at higher level. Room was fine. on 19th floor, but lift was good. Not having wifi as part of booking was a big disappointment and a surprise. Thought it'd be pretty standard now. Having to pay $35 for two days of wifi was off-putting, so will look elsewhere next time. Also, it was more expensive than similar places in the city we found out.

Great hotel, walk to city centre and Southbank.

Posted May 31, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Everything...rooms, staff, location.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Easy walk to Queen St Mall, rail station and Southbank. We went to a show so were able to walk both ways. Plenty of great cafes nearby for meals.
Booked 2 rooms for 7 people for 2 nights. Excellent rooms, clean and comfy, very friendly staff who always smiled. Also helpful. We were able to walk to Queen St Mall and Southbank so a great position. Plenty of great dining places for food and drinks nearby. Will definitely be going there again. Thanks Mantra Midtown and Wotif. Wotif make it so easy to book.

Great location, convenient facilities

Stayed at this hotel while travelling with a group of university students. Great location (although the street can be a bit loud even form the 18th floor) to get to everything in the CBD quickly. Very convenient to have kitchenette and laundry in the room.
