Great spot

Pros: Convenient location & good value
Cons: Our room was quite small - no space for any chairs. TV was in wrong aspect ratio & channels incorrectly labelled
Good location close to train station & walking distance to city & plenty of cafes nearby

Good value hotel in brisbane.

Cons: N/A
Location: a little out of the city but only a short walk.
New rooms, helpful service - front desk manager helped me out on some documents I needed printing.

Taking $100 out of my account in case I used mini bar. A week later money still not released back to my account

The holding time is set by each financial institution as to when it releases and not by the hotel. Room was a little small but for the price it was great! Modern, clean room and fairly good location, not much around but only a short walk to public transport or 10/15mins to city area.

Pros: A good sized, clean room and the convenience of hotel to where we have to go.
Location: Near to Medical Specialists, Courts, Train Station, City, walking distance to South Bank. Just very convenient and very reasonable in price.
We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, it is conveniently placed for our medical visits, it is clean, comfortable, and run without fuss of bother. Would recommend if just needing a nice room to stay for a short time at a reasonable price.

Average hotel close to the city

Pros: Relatively cheap room rates. Good distance to the city.
Cons: Renovate the entire hotel, get rid of the cramped rooms. New TVs, new bathroom design, new beds.
Location: Short walk away from central station, Queen St. Mall and food is provided downstairs in the restaurant.
The lobby staff provided an over the counter service rather than a warm welcome. It didn't feel like a hotel, but more like a motel. Upon entering the room, I was immediately met with a stench of a foul odour (maybe BO). There was no air freshner to combat the smell, and although I bought some, the odour stuck around. The room was far too cramped, street noise was loud (but probably better than other city hotels) and I could hear the middle aged couple reliving their honeymoon at 2 am in the morning. The sink was small and poorly designed with a glass tray above it that is always in the way. The shower door doesn't close and water will leak out onto the floor. The soap tray in the shower was loose. The bed was big but the smell of the fabric/ detergent was off putting. Bedsheets could be a bit nicer and with more colour. The TV was outdated and I could count the number of pixels on my hand, and the remote was unresponsive. It did have all the channels plus some foxtel channels but the TV guide didn't show any info. On the plus side, I didn't need to use the hotel's wifi which is ridiculously expensive, and anyone who has a good enough device will be able to connect to 'Brisbane's Free Wifi'. Also, the minibar was good but information about the price of each item should be provided. The service was good but could be better. In particular, I was not given proof of the minibar bill upon check out. When I asked, there was a slight bitterness for asking.

Handy to town bars and restaurants
