Very convenient location, close to everything.

Pros: Definitely the welcoming and helpful staff. Also the convenient location.
Cons: Air con in function rooms was too cold. The shower screen didn't work so well so that there was always a puddle on the floor after showering.
Location: Easy walk into the main shopping area and also easy access to the art galleries and South Bank.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have liked to have had the service of the executive lounge explained to me when I arrived though. I only discovered what it was the day before I left.

Conference stay

Came for an overnight stay for a conference held at the hotel; have stayed there before with my family. Very pleasing stay. Helpful staff. Well located. Would stay again.

Great house keeping staff but rude concierge

We needed a bit of help by the house keeping staff but she did it with a lovely smile and that made us feel so comfortable! On the other hand we were made feel so unwelcome by the concierge when asked him for a help;- He was on the phone when we were there so waited for him to finish and then said if we could talk to him. His reply was "What ?" And then said, after what help we needed, "that's reception's job, go and see them" and walked away! Is that how the "professional "concierge treat the guest at 4star rated hotel?

Lovely hotel with great central location

Pros: Very comfortable and spacious room and friendly staff. Prompt response for minor maintenance issue. Lovely restaurant with great food.
Cons: A reading light over the bed would be useful although there is a lamp beside the bed. This can be tilted to aid reading but needs a note to tell you.
Location: Across the road from King George Square and 5 minute walk to Queen St Mall and shopping areas. Also plenty of restaurants/cafes nearby.
Stayed for a week with a friend using it as a base for various activities around Brisbane and beyond.

Pullman Hotel

Pros: Clean. Tidy staff were great
Cons: All good
Location: Very Central to all amenities couldn't be better
Great place right in the heart of Brisbane City. Easy walk to Central Train Station for Airport transfers, walk to most venues with no issues. Staff were awesome. Breakfast as always a bit expensive at Hotel but very nice so did it anyway.

Bit of improvement needed.

Pros: location and special price offered through Expedia. Staffs were great.
Cons: Swimming pool, shower tab, air conditioner
Location: location is good for city tour.
Staffs were great, but swimming pool (asked to use one in Mercure hotel) was not easy to access nor managed well. Water dripping from shower tab, and water switch between shower and bath made noise and not to easy to handle. Room air conditioner does not operate well when high temperature was set. It's been disappointing to see these in 5 star hotel.

Not worth the $$

Overall stay was okay however the hotel rooms itself need a major Reno- very outdated!! The price was not worth what we got.

Great Hotel, Fantastic Location

Garvin on reception was excellent as always. Maybe they were short staffed this weekend but we requested missing items a couple of times from housekeeping and never received them, the phone rang out on several attempts to contact. Breakfast was a little disappointing this trip, bacon didn't taste fresh even though we were one of the first in the restaurant and the mushrooms and beans were not nice. We are normally very happy with our stay at the Pullman and will be back.

Beautiful location, outstanding service

I booked a surprise weekend getaway for my husband and was so blown away not only with the location (across the road from Queens Street Mall) but the overall Pullman experience. Upon check in I mentioned in passing, we had no children with us and were looking forward to some nice time together... we were upgraded to a King room, with access to the Executive Lounge... 45 mins after heading up to our beautiful room there was a knock on the door with champagne and a cheese platter. I am completely blown away by the attentiveness and genuine care for hotel guests. The executive lounge was a beautiful bonus. The room itself was excellent (our appeared to be renovated and on a corner - which allowed for great views!). Breakfast was plentiful - the omlette bar and coffees were outstanding! Thankyou for a truely unforgettable stay - we will be back.

Lovely staff and bedrooms

Cons: Pool! LOL.
Location: Queen Street Mall, Fortitude Valley
Have stayed there a couple a times and have always enjoyed the staff helpfulness. Special mentions to Schone (front desk) and Kuta (valet parking). Only thing, is the pool is still undergoing renovations.
