Central to CBD

Pros: Part of the CBD ensures that visitors can access the main shopping precinct on foot or mostly within a few blocks.
Cons: Cut the parking fee and provide free wifi for guests. Of small motels can do it these days, then surely the big players can.
Location: Above Central Station makes access easy for plane and train travellers. The CBD is your playground.
Sofitel provides it own comfort and pleasant experiences. In the Brisbane CBD is a bonus, but the exorbitant parking option and lack of free wifi limits a great experience.

Hotel is extremely convenient to Central Station

Hotel accommodations are fine, however the rooms are bit outdated. Location is very convenient to Airtrain, easy access to Central Station. I would rate the hotel as a 3.5 to 4.0 star...this is not a 5 star property.

Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: The main shopping precinct is a short walk away. The Art galleries and museum are also within walking distance. Taxis are available at the door.
I experienced excellent reception and bar staff, especially a young male waiter from Columbia in the bar. All were friendly and efficient.My room was serviced while I was at breakfast one day, which was great. I enjoyed the handy shopping and sight seeing. Best of all is the easy access to the airport by train from central station on site. I have no complaints at all.

Nice hotel

I was staying in Brisbane for the week for work Only problem was internet is ridiculously expensive however they did waive this fee for me. It may of been just my room but the Internet was very slow. Nice room and staff very friendly.

Excellent hotel. Great club lounge

Absolutely worth paying to upgrade to the club lounge. F&B great, room excellent, staff and service excellent and just an all round excellent Brisbane hotel.

Another amazing experience at the Sofitel

Pros: Staff, Food!, Beds!
Cons: They already jump through many hoops!
Location: Above central station, so it's very convenient to get around. Queen street mall is a short walk away.
Seriously, you have to stay here. The staff are so polite, attentive and really do love to help or assist. The level of cleanliness is impeccable, the food is 3 levels of amazing and the beds are simply the best nice sleep you've ever had. I keep returning - and it's half my holiday is just staying at the Sofitel.

Great Stay!!

Pros: Convenient location, close to the CBD in Brisbane
Cons: The lifts seemed to be an issue with a lot of guests - the cards were not activating
Location: I was not sight-seeing as I was there for a conference, but the Sofitel is close to Anzac Square which is lovely.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel, it had a great feel and the staff were always very helpful and polite. My room was lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

How to ruin a brand

The rooms are large but poorly finished they just took over the SHERATON and put a coat of paint . The linen is good. I always enjoyed the French influence until now.The dinner buffet was very very poor both visually and quality of food, the variety was a touch over mass 3 star hotel , we invited guests and were embarressed, the coffee and tea station was unkept and reminded me of a school camp, is it so hard to have staff to serve coffee and tea???thankfully it improved at breakfast.

セントラル駅直結で、強い日差しを避け雨にも濡れずにショッピングモール等に行け、何をするにも便利な立地。ジム、プール、ビジネスルーム、レストランも充実していて、休暇にもビジネスにも良いホテルだと思う。
