One night stay in Bristol

Pros: It is very well equipped with full kitchen, dish washer and washer/dryer.
Cons: The noise insulation is not good. We stay on 1st floor and we were awake around 5 am by birds chirping as well as people talking along the street.
Location: It is easy to find and there is a Tesco Express nearby that we could buy some food items to cook for dinner.
We were on our way to Land's end and decided to stop at Bristol for one night. We have been travelling for about 1 week and we wanted a place with kitchen so we can have "home cook" food for dinner. Also the washer/dryer allows us to wash our clothing. I gave Hotel Staff a grading of 1 because there is no hotel staff. Everything is self served, including getting the keys.

Wish we had a concierge

Great apartment, with a washer and dryer. The location was a little noisy, but close to food and the university.

Thank you Anon, I'm afraid as we do not have on site staff no concierge is possible, if that is what you require then probably better to book a hotel than a self-catering apartment.

Comfortable but lacking in some areas.

Accommodation was comfortable but very cold as the hallway and lounge heaters didn't work. For self catering there could have been extras left for cooking, such as condiments, foil and a sieve for example. The hallway to this apartment and two others stank of stale cigarettes.

The check in process was an absolute nightmare as you have to find a key box then find your apartment in a block of flats that's huge. Luckily it didn't take too long to find it. The apartment was really lovely. Really nice how it's presented. All that's needed for a stay is provided Spoke to the company about car parking and she was very helpful and got it sorted. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back

pleasant stay in a centrally located property

Was a well decorated and stocked apartment - everything you could possibly need. There was some signs of wear in the bathroom, but you would expect this in an apartment versus a hotel. the well-stocked kitchen, cleaning utensils and iron as well as the television and films provided more than made up for this. As other reviewers have stated the front door code is incorrect, but once you have the key fob. This is not a problem. It may be an issue if someone has arrived late in the evening and there is no one to let them in.

Thanks Paul, I'm not sure which front door code it is you refer that is wrong? This code / process has now recently changed so hopefully will alleviate the issue.
