Pros: Convenient location, reasonable value.
Very convenient for Bristol Templemeads Station and short walk into city centre. Hotel clean, room comfortable. Good value especially as breakfast included. Only negative was fire alarm going off at 5am though thankfully stopped before we had to evacuate.

Outside of the building looks dated but inside you have a nice surprise with clean and comfortable rooms. Thermostat just saved our lives! After walking all day in rain we got warm snd cosy :) Breakfast was unfortunate. No bacon, very poor scrambled eggs.. not much choice but if they make their own pastries - I admire! Delicious croissants. Overall - happy experience :)

Centrally located

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is fairly poor and too few tables in the room.
Location: Short walk to shops, restaurants, theatres etc. with bus stops and train station within a few metres.
Conveniently located within 200 metres of train station and bus stops, and 15 minute walk to city centre. Room clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast buffet fairly basic and too few tables. Ideal for a short stay to take in the sights and for a good night out.

Nice hotel very close to transport links

Pros: Staff and cleanliness could not be faulted. Breakfast was very good also.
Location: Very close to the transportation links.
Very friendly helpful staff and very clean all round. Rooms are spacious with a large bathroom area. Beds are comfy although when you book a triple room for 3 adults the single bed is not ideal for an adult unfortunately, more like a child's bed. Noise levels are quite high unfortunately (was expected as we were in a city) but not from patrons. There were water pipes in the walls which were constantly running and there was the constant drone of a fan running (not from our bathroom). There was also an adjoining door to the next room which was not ideal. We could hear the other guests so clearly it was like we were all in the same room :-( Also the air conditioning unit although switched off made quite a bit of creaking noises.

Handy for the station

Pros: Location. Always a comfortable and pleasant stay at these express hotels. Breakfast is great and sets you up for the day. Really friendly receptionist
Cons: A bit of TLC in the corridors and rooms, looking a bit tired. Better lighting in the bathroom for the lady to slap on the makeup.
Location: Redcliffe church. King st Landogger trow, The old Duke and many more fine pubs and restaurants. Corn st, visit the NAILS Weatherspoon worth a visit
Cannot be beaten for location to the railway station. 10/15 min walk to centre, ( Hippodrome) plenty of bars along the way. Lots of History around Queens square and King st with the Old Vic theatre, landogger trow etc well worth a visit. Very busy road but double glazing does the business. Pub outside (not the best) and a nice Italian restaurant if you don't want to stray to far from your hotel. My tip is to head for King st for some real character and if you like Jazz visit the old Duke. Maybe go on the cider boat or visit corn st plenty of pubs in fine old buildings and see the nails. (hence the saying "pay on the nail.") Enjoy.
