It's been sometime since they've renovated or updated the place. Lots of peel and stick oak furniture, threadbare carpeting (they allow pets, so maybe digging dogs), out of service pool, floor tiles that have completely lost their sheen, and borders circa '90. I was booked here after Expedia got me out of the beautiful new ashtray of a hotel after nearly having an asthma attack. I wasn't in the position to nitpick at the time. That being said, I did have a good nights rest. The bed was comfortable, pillows adequate, breakfast got me through until lunch, friendly staff. I also didn't have the problem of my neighbor's slamming door jarring me up early in the morning. There was no smoking smell in my room, no previous guest trash or hair, and a decent hot shower. If you travel with your pets and/or don't mind a '90s throwback get a comfortable nights rest here. It's not beautiful, but you'll get a nights sleep and a filling breakfast with good selections.
