Fantastic location, excellent staff.

Posted Jan 16, 2018
Pros: Location, comfortable beds, happy staff
Cons: Carpets in some areas due to the amount of foot traffic
Location: Excellent location for Time Square, Central Park, Hell's Kitchen, lots of attractions to visit by foot.
Very busy hotel in a great location. The bed was extremely comfortable and bedding was luxurious, I struggled to get out of it in the mornings it was so comfy. Craig and his team were very helpful and efficient considering the amount of guests each day. Coffee machine in the room is a great bonus and was even available in the lobby with fresh cookies available daily, great after along day in the city. The bathroom was small but had everything you needed and constant hot water for a lovely bath before setting out again in the evening. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily. Only a small negative was in some parts the hotel was a little tired but over all a warm and very comfortable hotel.

Perfect location for Theatre District

Posted Jan 13, 2018
Pros: Clean, private rooms. Good breakfast which is a big deal in the big city. Close to all amenities. Can't ask for better.
Cons: No complaints with Hampton Inn in any of the cities that business (Collegiate sports official) or pleasure take me.
Location: In the heart of the Broadway theatre district, easy access to the best reataurants.
Perfectly located for walking to theatres throughout the district. Easy access to theatres, restaurants and other amenities. Clean, comfortable rooms, professional staff, helpful concierge, great location. Our #1 stay for theatre trips. TIP: professional traveler (collegiate sports official) - always look for Hampton Inn as top choice.

Great location

This hotel was a little older, but the room with a king bed also had a fold-out couch, and was bigger than I thought a room in New York City would be. The breakfast was very good. A nice variety. There was always hot chocolate and coffee available, which after all day in the cold was comforting. The location was great for walking. Very close to Gershwin Theater. Ten minute walk to Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Also walked to Central Park and the American Natural History Museum. One block from a subway station. The C and E trains, which went to the Museum and to the 911 Memorial.

Nice location for all midtown sights and shows etc

Posted Jan 8, 2018
Pros: Central location, friendly helpful staff, complimentary breakfast and Free Wifi
Cons: Looking a bit dated and needs new decoration
Location: ABsolutely everything in Midtown Manhattan is a stones throw away
Great hotel for central Manhattan at a very reasonable rate given the complimentary breakfasts and WiFi(though the free is a bit slow). The hotel is showing its age a bit but remains clean and the staff are absolutely superb and couldn`t be more helpful

Great location

Posted Jan 8, 2018
Pros: Excellent location especially if you are bringing young children to NYC. Close to subway and walking distance to Time Square.
Cons: Heating system was pumping out cold air during the extreme cold winter weather.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Great location to almost everywhere you want to go. There are lots of restaurants option around in walking distance. Breakfast was great as it has different hot breakfast daily. Great 24 hrs coffee/hot drink complimentary. The hotel is quiet and cleaning stuff are excellent in providing clean towels daily. Would definitely be back for its location!

Great Location

Posted Jan 4, 2018
Pros: 1. location 2. breakfast included 3. free wi-fi
Location: three theaters are within 1/2 block .... Neil Simon, August Wilson and Gershwin.
We really enjoyed staying here ... it was close to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza without being in the middle of all the crowds. Breakfast was good, and we loved having coffee, tea and hot chocolate always available. There are three theaters less than 1/2 block away, and easy casual restaurants all around.

Vacation

Posted Jan 4, 2018
We had a great time. Breakfast was provided. The hotel was sold out, yet they kept everything full. Concierge was very helpful with the train schedule and made sure we were headed in the right direction. A little pricey, but it was right after Christmas.
