Convenient Hotel for local attractions

Pros: the friendly staff
Location: Excellent location
The hotel staff are always very friendly. The inclusion of a breakfast is a positive reason for using this hotel. The hotel is quiet, but with good access to the road transport system.

Disappointing

First thing- the WiFi in our room was just awful the entire time. We couldn’t even check messages on our phones or search for things to do, not to mention we had planned on streaming a show on a device we brought along that night. No way that was happening. Second- the room smelled clean upon arrival but, you could see that someone had literally wiped their hands on the white lampshade. Gross. Also, I found the beds to be uncomfortable. I just got rid of my own 12 year old mattress at home and don’t complain easily... this thing was worse. I slept terribly. That combined with the incredibly noisy neighbors above us! No clue what they were doing up there but, it was ridiculously loud! I went to pick up the phone to contact the front desk and wouldn’t you know, the phone in our room didn’t work either. Annoying. Now this last thing is what really threw me over the edge- my family likes to sleep late. Check out time is NOON. I had just stepped out of the shower at 8:30am when I hear someone knocking on our room door. Of course I didn’t answer and I didn’t say anything and neither did the person at the door. But after knocking again and not getting a response..... THEY USED A KEY TO OPEN THE DOOR! I had the latch on so it didn’t open all the way but... SERIOUSLY!!? I called the front desk after that person went away and they said “oh, it was probably housekeeping. They probably thought you had checked out.” At 8:30am?!?!? NEVER AGAIN.

Way to go maintenance!

I had trouble with my bathtub plug. Told the front desk about it and when I came back that evening it was fixed! That's a first for a hotel I've ever stayed at.

Great Hotel!

We were very pleased with this hotel. We had the King size room with a spa jet tub in our room. Although I am not a big fan of stucco on the walls, the room was very clean and the spa tub located right in the room was fantastic. Breakfast was great and we really appreciated the "Outback Steak House" being connected right to the hotel - very convenient. There was lots of parking (free) and Walmart was located right across the road for our shopping needs. We had come to Milwaukee to tour the Harley Davidson Museum and was only 10 minutes away - we only wished we stayed here both nights when we were in Milwaukee!

Nice hotel

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Easy check-in, good location (near site where HVAC class was being held). Decent rooms, breakfast okay. Would stay there again.

My room was supposed to have a chair. It was a disappointment that there was not one. A reader would expect a chair to sit in.

Bad room location Room 128

This hotel is very nice. The breakfast is great. My room was not great. I was located directly across from the hotel laundry room. The room was also used to stage food for the breakfast room. Doors started slamming at 6 AM.

Needed an extended checkout on a Sunday afternoon for my family so they could stay at the hotel while the entire plumbing in our house was replaced. Front desk employee approved right away. Family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Downside was a broken mini fridge that was replaced as we were leaving after a 2 night stay.
