Hey Brian,Thank you for your review. We are a bit unique in that we are set up like an apartment rather than your standard motel/hotel. This means you have a comfy rocker recliner and a sofa (or a 2nd queen bed) in the living, ceiling fans, a private bedroom and a full kitchen. This, coupled with the fact that we are only a block from the beach, does make our rate extremely competitive.I hope you and yours have a safe New Years and look forward to your next visit.

Hi Dale, I am sorry we were unable to accommodate your reservation. Under the section entitled "You need to know" it says, "....guests whose residence is within 60 mi (97 km) of the property will not be allowed to check in."As for a refund, you card was not charged.

Hey Paul,Thank you for your review. While we do not provide breakfast, we do have a full kitchen similar to an apartment. It is suitable to cooking eggs, pancakes or other meals if you wish. It looks like your stay went well, however I would like to address your concerns.Our property is quite safe and, due to the temperate climate, the majority of our guests leave their windows open throughout the night. There are stoppers you can use in the window tract to adjust how far they open.As for the doors, they do not have slide chains but they do have safety dead bolts. If you want to to see who is at your door you can either look through the door's eye hole or look out the window which is next to the door.I hope you had a safe and uneventful flight home Have a great week.
