Close to my daughter

Wouldn't change res. Arrival. Paid for room with 2 beds .gave handicapped room with 1 bed. No closet. Bathroom for handicapped ZERO sink shelf space. Rugs in and out of elevators filthy... parking lot elevator put of service 2 days.

Good Location

Pros: Location
Cons: General upkeep
Bit Pricey, but in good location. Somewhat behind in maintenance. Elevator in garage was down, refrigerator in room was barely cold, and the toilet seat was broken. Overall a good stay but as I mentioned Pricey.

A stressful situation made worse by staff

Pros: The double queen room with sofa bed that we stayed in earlier in the week was very nice and roomy.
Cons: The staff needs to be better trained and empowered to offer discounts/rooms in special cases. Management needs to be more responsive.
I reserved and paid for a double Queen Room with a sofa bed so that our family could stay together before my father's funeral the next day. After we checked in we found that there was no sofa bed which was needed for my daughter. On my way out to the airport to pick her up, I explained the whole situation to the hotel staff and they told me that they would work out a solution. When I brought my daughter back (around 1 am) the staff said their solution was for her to sleep on the floor and we would be compensated with breakfast. I said we needed a bed of some sort for her since she was exhausted from her 12 hour trip; we all needed a good night sleep before the funeral. We asked for a rollaway and were told that would be a problem if the hotel caught fire. The staff suggested that she share a bed with her (adult) brothers - understandably, she was not comfortable with this. I asked if there were other rooms and we were told that there were several and then quoted me a high rate. I asked if they would comp us the room since they were unlikely to sell those this late. We were shocked by the staff declaring: "I'm trying to run a business here!". I asked for a discount - she wouldn't budge. I asked to speak to a manager; it turned that there were none there and they never tried to contact one earlier in the evening when the problem first became apparent. About a week ago I sent an email to the general manager of the hotel; disappointingly I have not received any sort of reply.

Hotel filled with lies

We was overcharged on a credit card, also We was charge for parking. We was told Parking was free. and then charge after we left the hotel.

We had a very nice stay that was made a lot better by the friendliness of the staff. Sheb Shumar and Dwijuana Reid were just wonderful! The A/C unit noise level was the only think I wish was different but that's not something for the staff to address; it's more of a long term capital project for the management to consider.
