close to medical community

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: best shuttle drivers!
Cons: All that I mentioned above
Location: location was key to medical community.
hotel is in dire need of updating and/or a good cleaning. Bathroom floor was dirty, as was the floor of the shower. The light on the table separating the beds had only one working light bulb. The lamp on the desk next to the bathroom had to be shut off by pulling out the plug; the on/off switch was broken. The privacy curtains when closed did not close completely; there was visible space between where the two ends of the drapes met. When the light was on in the room (room 148) I stood outside of the room and could see into the room where the drapes had a gap. Lastly, the toilet was so low to the floor it was ridiculous. I am not a "tall" person by any means but I found the height of this toilet way too low especially if the occupant had any type of disability or was over 5 1/2 feet tall.

Hotel is convenient to everything.

Pros: Front desk staff were friendly and patient.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: We were at a conference at Boston University, so being right on the T was perfect.
Not inexpensive, but close to transportation, which was important to us. It is convenient to anything one could want - in Brookline, Boston, Cambridge, and beyond.

Easy location close to store locations.

It was private and quiet. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. The pool was never used because it's in the middle of the hotel in an opened space, there is no privacy, and makes it awkward to swim. Gym small not much to do there, there are plenty of gyms and studios in the area, many healthy and organic food selections. Location is Nice for athletes and sporty individuals, lots of joggers and college students in the area. Location near trains, stores, and Restaurants.

Great Hotel!

Pros: Had a free room upgrade! Cant go wrong there. The pool and hot tub are in convenient locations.
Location: Location is fantastic! Many things to do in the area and transportation is available.
I've stayed in this hotel a few times and the experience is consistent. Friendly staff, rooms are clean and comfortable, service is great and staff is accommodation. There is a fee for parking which can catch you off guard if you weren't aware prior to booking. Do not drive a large oversized vehicle, you may have trouble fitting in the parking garage!

I reserved this room for my parents. Their overall experience was vey good. They were, however, charged for two movies they hadn't seen. When we spoke to the front desk, they were happy to help us.

A decent hotel in Boston-Brookline area

Posted Dec 19, 2016 on Hotels
This hotel is old, but the condition is still good. The room price is fair compare to other hotels near by. They offer breakfast, but not free. Good thing is if you go there in winter, you don't need to get out to find food in the morning. The price and the food quality are decent. This hotel also has indoor parking garage for customers. It's a good thing if you go there in nasty weather condition in winter, you don't have to extra job for your car, bad thing is they will charge you $34 for overnight. If you are willing to pay this amount for parking, this is a great hotel. Otherwise, you had better reconsider your hotel choice.
