“I recently went on a 5 day road trip, and this was the last hotel of the bunch. I spent 2 nights here. The negatives: As soon as I walked into the room (non smoking room), it smelled like your grandma that smokes inside sprayed some febreeze in there. As a non smoker this really hurt my stay, and I tried not to hang out in the room for long because of this. The hotel itself is rather odd. “Staff were very nice and helpful every time we had questions. Breakfast was great everyday during our stay and offered a great mix for all of us(Family of 7). Location was superb for getting to see other family, friends, and locations like Valleyfair, Como Zoo, malls, etc. Also their ice machines are the best we've had at any hotel ever.”

“The location is OK. It feels like you're definitely in a very industrial or business area. The hotel feels old and showing it's age. The staff was quick and helpful when we asked for anything. A few things that are first world problems. No microwave. There is only one tiny microwave by the service desk. They lay out of the bathroom is extremely crammed. To get into the shower you have to get in, squeeze through the toilet, close the door to access the shower. The hallways don't seem to have……

We had a one bedroom suite with a sitting area, and soon discovered there was no central air conditioning, just a window unit that didn't ventilate the sitting area where one of the guests were sleeping. And the sofa bed had trash and debris under the mattress. So initially we were dissatisfied, but the staff acted quickly to resolve our issues, cleaning the sofa bed debris and making that bed and bringing a fan for air circulation in the……
