Pricey with shortcomings

Pros: Good location for our purposes. Friendly staff. Quiet.
Cons: Add a breakfast room and remodel the bath. Or, lower the price to reflect the facilities.
Location: Near Prospect Park, which is why we rented there. Granddaughter was in the Rock & Roll Marathon.
Way too expensive for the shortcomings with the facilities. No breakfast facilities, just room service (although breakfast is included). Bathroom has no separate shower stall. The shower is a separate area with a plastic curtain. Water flows all over the floor which uses up your towels to soak it up. The shower nozzle was shoulder height causing me to squat to wash my hair. Only one chair in the room. However, TV and bed were excellent.

Very comfy bed, the hotel is close to the subway so it's easy to get to the likes of Manhattan. The front desk staff are very friendly and there was complimentary popcorn and Water on arrival.

Not what it used to be!

Pros: still a bargain being close to the subway/Manhattan. The bed was comfortable
Cons: The staff were quite polite and attentive but more training is needed in knowing the neighborhood/restaurants & giving directions.
Location: The hotel is part of the Park Slope neighborhood so lots to do and visit locally.
We had stayed at Hotel Le Blue 10 years ago when the hotel was in better shape with well trained staff. What we found recently was a facility that was aging and staff who couldn't even recommend local restaurants or give reliable directions. The curtains in the room had lots of holes in them and the air conditioner/heating unit was quite loud...thank goodness I brought my ear plugs. The bathroom had peeling paint, a soap dish that was broken, & several lights that were out (the headboard light was out and reported to the mystery repair staff who never fixed it). The windows needed cleaning and the outside deck was quite filthy. The sheets for the bed didn't fit due to the mattress covers they added recently and the staff never heard of turning a mattress so that surface could even itself out? They also were out of maps of the neighborhood.

Thinly veiled dump

Mystery stains all over the carpet, light fixture falling off which had previously been taped instead of properly repaired, washroom completely open to the main room, popcorn and dirt all over the lobby floor. This pictures make this hotel appear a lot nicer than it actually is.

Nice surprise being greeted with cupcakes! Girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast at our door was a nice touch! Would go back again!

Decent stay

Pros: Location
Cons: Beds should be checked and replaced if lop-sided or old. Bigger breakfasts.
Great location. Pretty nice hotel. Bed was lop-sided so did not make for the best sleep. Breakfast was delivered, but was very small portion. Overall, okay hotel.

Great hotel!

Nice clean hotel that is close to everything! The hotel is in the Park Slope district of Brooklyn which is nice and safe. The hotel is three blocks from a subway station that will take you to Manhattan. There are also several nice restaurants close to the hotel as well. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.

Great Brooklyn Hotel

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: I am being picky here, but the bathroom products weren't refilled when they were low.
Location: 2 blocks from the subway.
I've already done a review of this hotel so you can find most of my input in a previous post, but here is a couple more bonus tips. The croissants I had for breakfast were delicious! Soft and yummy. Bath products were also great. I usually can't use hotel products (particularly hair products) but these products were great! And cleaning staff did a great job each day!

Nice convenient hotel

Pros: The welcome water and chips, the bed was super comfortable, the room was big and I loved the breakfast delivery!
Cons: The state of the bathroom and shower were so disappointing. I don't know if I was in a special room, but if so, I should have been told....
Location: It's in park slope and very convenient to there and 278....I loved the location!
Ken blue was in a great spot, and the overall appearance was good...on closer review, they could do better with the cleanliness. I loved some aspects of it, like the chips and waters waiting for me in my room! The bed was really comfortable! The bathroom was a huge problem...the shower curtain was skinny and ugly....there was a blue sign that said push button for hot water, which I did....it was only lukewarm....I tried holding it down- lukewarm....one towel bar in the shower was broken and not there....the shampoo, conditioner and body was were hanging in a cool way, but their hooks were all broken so when u touched them they fell on the floor! WORST SHOWER EXPERIENCE IN MY MEMORY. The breakfast delivery was great and the croissant was good!
