Ultra expensive holiday camp
Posted Aug 29, 2016
When you are paying such a large rate for room only, you would expect to have a full luxury experience. Unfortunately this was sorely lacking at the Cable Beach Club Resort. Despite all pictures of our Bungalow having a balcony, the reality was different. The bungalow was old, but clean and well appointed. The check-in process was long and laborious, with what seemed like an inefficient approach. Facilities were generally good. Club Restaurant was very expensive for average food. Sunset Bar & Grill was better value but hit and miss with the service. Breakfast was a rip-off.. not included in our rate, but everyone else seemed to have it included. Needed to find and clear our own table then join the general scrum for food. Cocktails at sunset were good. Family pool was good and catered for children well. We had spa treatments, which were again excellent, but extremely expensive. Bizarrely the in-room mini-bar seemed to present the best value for money. All in all, the Cable Beach Club Resort could do with cutting all prices by 30% and improving the way breakfast is served.

I am sorry to hear your stay with us fell short of expectations. I will review all of your comments with the relevant departments. Club Restaurant has just won the title of Best Restaurant in a Hotel so I am surprised to hear this also disappointed you. Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our friendly staff. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back again soon,
