Nice hotel but too expensive

Location: nice mountain view but not much to do around except for some hiking trails that are self explored
Nice hotel, but there are no services that justify the price of it. In addition, no one answers the calls.

Low value of money

Low value of money expected better service .. Breakfast was not what i expected at all

i thought it has changed after they joined the spg

We thought it has been changed after they joined the spg programme shortage in staff and very slow in checking and check out and the cleaning staff they are not professional as there was tissues in corridors and smelly corridors may be from the humidity

It was great. This is the fourth time we are staying at the hotel. I could definitely see an improvement over last year as far as the room itself.

Luxus-Hotel mit etwas Pomp in den Bergen

Pros: großzügig, freundliches Personal v.a. am Desk, schöne Blicke zu Bergen und Meer. Klima sehr ausgewogen.
Cons: Im Libanon sind generell die Frühstückspreise überhöht (meist um 30 Dollar), dadurch werden auch entsprechende Pauschalpäckchen zu teuer.
Location: In den Bergen nahe Beirut, mit Mietauto (oder Taxis) kann man in der Nähe (z.B. röm. Ruinen in Beit Mary) und weiter weg vieles gut erreichen.
Ende Mai hat die "richtige" Saison in Broummana noch nicht begonnen. Deshalb waren wir als Übernachtungsgäste fast alleine, zumal Gärten etc. zum Teil noch nicht gepflegt und offen waren. Allerdings fand eine Hochzeit statt, in den Festräumen ist ganzjährig Betrieb. Beim Frühstück dagegen waren wir fast alleine, was jedoch eher ein Vorteil war: statt Buffet Tischservice, aufmerksames Personal, für Wünsche offen. vielleicht wäre es für das Hotel gut, in den schlecht ausgelasteten Zeiten preislich günstiger anzubieten und dafür etwas mehr "Leben" zu bekommen. Zudem darf man sich an einer kräftigen Prise Protz nicht stören.
