Great little treasure!

Posted Dec 17, 2017
I had to dig, but found this well-kept, comfortable, and reasonably-priced hotel not far from the crowded city. We’ll always choose this little treasure when our travels take us to the Lubbock area.

Unfriendly

Posted Nov 29, 2017
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Everything
Location: Nothing, it is just for travelers needing a stop.
The front desk person was rude and bored with her job. The ac kicked on LOUD and the refrigerator rattled. It was miserable. HI are way too expensive for a bed. The breakfast was so so, but then it’s hard to screw up packaged foods.

Really nice hotel and staff

Posted Sep 5, 2017
I arrived and they tallied up my bill for 2 nights. First off it was more than the booking price on Expedia. I showed them my initial booking price and they did honor that. This is the first time I have ever had to prove my booking price at a hotel. So glad I kept my confirmation. Our stay was great as any Holiday Inn experience. I will go back as it was very clean and comfortable And as always the Cinnamon Rolls were fabulous!!!

Meh, it's rural West Texas. What do ya expect?

Comfortable bed for the night. I stopped off for the night while driving from the Gulf coast to northern New Mexico, and through no choice of my own, that meant spending the night in West Texas. The hotel was packed...evidently there was a funeral going on in this tiny town and family and friends had filled up one of the few hotels in this terrible town that doesn't look like the setting of a serial killer movie. In the morning, families (all with multiple children) flooded the breakfast bar, making for a less than relaxing morning. Check-in staff was friendly, after she finished her telephone conversation that seemed to be about giving someone directions to the place (who doesn't have a GPS app, these days?). All in all, I'd probably stay again if I had to be in this part of the world and in need of sleep.

Breakfast was great. It was more expensive than most Holiday inn Express hotels.
