Rancho viejo resort.Posted Aug 8, 2015
Urgente necesidad de renovar si no por completo mínimo quitar alfombras y cambiarlas por duela o piso. Cubierta de baño. Cambiar por granito. Más luz blanca. Agregarles mini refrigerador.

Nice place to stayPosted Jul 2, 2015
Found just searching online but found it to be really nice. Beautiful views, room was comfortable just needed a desk & chair & place to put your stuff besides the floor. Pool was awesome!!! Staff was very friendly & helpful with directions.

Entre Brownsville y Harlingen. Habitaciones en pequeñas 'villas'. En un lugar muy bello y tranquilo, entre palmas y un pequeño río. Ideal para quienes quieren alejarse del bullicio de la ciudad.

Priced Right for an overnight business tripPosted May 23, 2015
Pros: Units are right on the street, with almost no distance to haul bags to the room. Quiet in the evenings.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: It's a golf course.
Rancho Viejo is excellent. The Rooms, appear to be remodeled duplex condo's on the golf course. The rooms were ample and had great linens. the sliding back door looked over a Resaca. A great value. You won't get complementary breakfast, but the dining room, while a bit pricey, had an EXCELLENT breakfast..

Rancho ViejoPosted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
Loved it but Couple of things that didn't make sense to me.I ordered a half of roasted chicken for dinner but they only made one so I had to order something else. The outside patio is beautiful but it needed to be cleaned before we sat down evidently hardly anyone goes outside so they had spider webs all over the chairs and tables.Other than that, the hotel was perfect. The restaurant and bar staff are the best. They cater to your needs. They're awesome!

Stayed a second nightPosted Aug 16, 2014 on Hotels
Had a nice stay at Rancho Viejo. If not for the booking online the price is too much for what you get. It was quiet, the rooms were nice and looking out at a golf course instead of a parking lot was great. I would stay here again without any second thoughts.

Excellent rooms, quite and comfortable.Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Comfort, service, quiet and luxurious.
Cons: Not much in my opinion. The drive to SPI is a bit long but that can't be helped, being that the resort is in Brownsville.
Location: SPI and Schlitterbahn are obvious choices. Lots of restaurants/mall/retail nearby.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 3 nights.Awesome comfort and cleanliness. Kitchen has microwave, fridge, cooking range, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Didn't feel like staying in a hotel at all. Went to South Padre beach every day so the washer and dryer came in extremely handy to do laundry every night.. Nice location, Reuben Torres, which has tons of restaurants/retail/mall/movie theaters is about 5 miles away. South Padre Island is about 30 miles/45 min drive. Very courteous and helpful staff. Didn't get a chance to try in-house dining more than twice but food and service were good.
