Ok hotel to get some sleep while traveling. Just a very bare bones basic hotel, not nice but the sheets and towels were clean the room was ok, and the lady at the front desk was nice and it serves it's purpose. Also there is no breakfast. I saw that somewhere it claimed to have breakfast, so I just wanted to clear that up.

Needs fixin up

Pros: It was in close proximity for us.
Cons: Pool needs fixing up. Rooms need basic up keep and repair.
For starters, the pool did not look appealing. The room had dust piled up on the night stands. Electrical outlets near sink and mirror did not work. The pillows were flat. The ceiling at paint peeling bad. Really needs some work done to fix it up.

Rude staff and Noisy

Pros: It was conveniently located near I-40
Cons: The front desk staff needs to be friendly and the rooms need updating
Location: Rest stop between Memphis and the Smoky Mountains
When I arrived to check in, I was not greeted or even given a smile. The front desk employee looked very frazzled and irritated. When I asked about the pool I was told that it wasn't opened yet. When I got to the room there was no toilet paper and the bath tub was dirty. The hotel was located next to the highway (which I knew) but the noise level was unacceptable. The curtains did not properly close and the outside lights illuminated our room the whole night. When I checked out the next morning, the doors to the front desk was locked and that is when I decided to get out of there very quickly.

Last resort. Good on-line price.

Pros: Close to the Interstate.
Cons: Water not hot enough for a decent shave or a good shower. The burned out light bulbs. The coffee maker did not work.
We stayed several days on family business. The coffee maker did not work. There were several room lights out, and though we told the management about them and asked the bulbs be replaced, they were not. We did ask the maid staff for extra towels and were given them.

Can't Complain

It got the job done. I needed a place to stay in Brownsville. This hotel was convienent and comfortable for the most part!!
