Comfortable convenient and very clean

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Hotel is 10mins walk from main square down one of the mail shopping streets. Hotel has no parking but free public parking is available about 2 mins walk from hotel (less that 150 yards) but appeared to be very busy so you may need to wait for park at peak times. Hotel staff friendly and all spoke English. Room was reasonable size and spotlessly clean. All normal facilities with unlimited hot water for bath or shower. Very comfortable bed which was the continental 2 meter length which is useful if you are tall. We did not have breakfast as thought it too expensive at 12 Euros each but discovered that eating in Brugge is very expensive so booking breakfast with the room may be the best option although there are numerous places to eat on the way into the town. Would definitely stay there again next time stopping off in Brugge

Loved the staff and location, just outside the center of Brugge, but easy to navigate!

Lovely hotel short way out of Bruges

Posted Apr 12, 2016
Lovely hotel and the staff were really nice. The room was very basic but just what we wanted. There was no kettle in the room and the bathroom was very small. The room was very clean though and the beds were lovely and comfy. We paid for the continental breakfast which was very tasty and there was a lot of choice. Parking is nearby and free.

Centrally situated to sight see the historic city

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: It's situation
Cons: As stated above
Location: As stated good for site seeing the old city, where there is loads to see. Very historic city.
Hotel in need of an overall refurbishment. Looking very tired and worn, room was ok, but ensuite was small, poor lighting. Internet only worked in reception area, and not in your room. TV selection very poor, and transmission quality again poor. No English news channels.. Parking is nearby, about 250 metres away, not on site.

make do hotel

Pros: Hotel staff.
Cons: Upgrade some hardware.
Hotel staff are extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is about 10 minutes to the train station by car, and 10 minutes by car to city center (walking is a bit too far). Hotel has a voucher you can buy, for 8 euros, one voucher can take you to anywhere within the city and they help you call taxis. Hotel facilities are bit old, particularly the carpet but bed sheets are new, clean and comfortable. Hotel itself is located on a nice and very quiet street, but can easily hear noise next door.

15 min walk to city center.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: nothing. The staff was quite nice.
Cons: breakfast is too expensive for what it is. We had the two worst rooms in the building since the walls in these two rooms were not straight.
Location: takes good 15 min to walk into town. Parking is free in an unsecured public parking lot. We had no problems. Hotel is in a residential neighborhood.
Hotel looks ok from outside. Corridors are dark and look shabby. The whole hotel looks old and worn. NO A/C!!!! I missed that somehow and our room faced the sun in the afternoon and evening. A quiet place, could be because it was Sunday.
