A medieval fantasyPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: The location and the unusual decor
Location: Everything in Bruges is within walking distance
Beautifully appointed room, with leaded windows looking out on the Market Square. Delightful space, modernized but still rich in ambience.

Brilliant room, Brilliant location.Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: Spacious room, lovely décor and iconic views of the centre of Bruges.
Location: Look on trip advisor and lonely planet etc to find the best eateries/bars the ones on the main square are overpriced and poor quality.
Perfect central location. The hotel could almost offer out the room we stayed in (room 3) as a self catering apartment as it has an oven/hob and fridge. Staff were friendly enough, a special mention must go to the lovely lady who met us and took us up to the room. The hotel closes its restaurant side on days that coincide with football, so we had to ring a number before being met, however this was almost instant. Don't be surprised when your bill is slightly more than expected, due to the tourist tax in Bruges. Its only about 2 euros per person per night, but unexpected nonetheless.

Struttura storica molto centralePosted Aug 13, 2015 on Hotels

Perfect location in the heart of BrugesPosted Jul 21, 2015
Be careful when booking as breakfast despite being in the name is NOT included in the price, there doesn't seem to be anything that suggests it's not included so it is mid-leading to have this in the title

Fairytale in BrugesPosted Jul 12, 2015 on Hotels
We loved this fairytale setting. The room was on the first floor and huge with two chandeliers. It has a wall of mullioned windows that overlook the market. It is very exciting. The people in the restaurant below were very friendly and helpful. There was no interaction with anyone else so independent travelers would really enjoy this unique accommodation. The room was freshened by the housekeeping staff while we were out. All in all Bruges was fantastic and this place did not disappoint.

Bed and breakfast.Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Loved it. I had a large room. Most of the second floor. Bathroom. Was amazing.lots of noise from the market. noisy Drunks until dawn. the deliveries.
Cons: Toss in a breakfast.
Location: Near some great beer pubs and shopping.
Perfect location .fantastic helpful staff. But there is no breakfast included . they should change their title from bed and breakfast simply........bed and no breakfast.

Ontbijt enkel op betaling !!!!!!!Posted Jun 29, 2015 on Hotels
Geen ontbijt gekregen, enkel slaap verblijf terwijl toch betaald en geboekt was voor B&B. Dit is niet correct en eerlijk tegenover de klant en zal daarom ook nooit meer in deze B&B boeken

BED & BREAKFAST, WITH URINE MARKS IN THE BED AND NO BREAKFASTPosted Jun 11, 2015 on Hotels
I was traveling with my daughter that lives in Europe. At the time, there was the French Open tournament going on. Every night after our tours, we watched TV to check the scores. One night I watched a match while my daughter went to bed. She slept in the bed and I opened the sofa bed to watch TV. The sofa bed was URINATED all over inside. I was so surprised that took pictures of the URINE marks. This place is advertised as a comfortable Bed and Breakfast. However, the sofa bed had URINE MARKS in it and there was no breakfast offered. I was also surprised by the lack of staff as the person in charge is also the waiter of the restaurant. It was also shocking to see there is no assigned person for the reception. The waiter, who acted as a receptionist was also very rude and unpleasant. You have been warned!

Unbelievably special room for the price.Posted Jun 8, 2015
We stayed in the 1st floor room (the Jan Breydel room), which occupies the whole width of the hotel, and were bowled over by the size and beauty of it. The hotel (more of a B&B, with just 3 rooms, one on each floor) overlooks the main Markt square, but there is absolutely no problem with noise - the windows are fantastically insulated (though you can easily open them to let in the bells etc in the morning). The room was stunningly beautiful and really palatial - more like a suite, though open plan. On one wall is a genuine oil painting by a respected 19th century artist (we looked him up). There is not only an en suite shower room and toilet, but in the room itself there is a lovely open-plan bath; there are also comfortable sofas and arm chairs, a sophisticated stereo/CD/iPod docking station and TV and a lovely old desk and chairs. Everything else was as you would hope for a comfy hotel - rooms beautifully made up, fresh towels, linen etc etc. Staff (basically the waiters in the restaurant downstairs) were extremely helpful, friendly, and fluent in English. We would go and live there if we could...
