We had a great stay at your beautiful hotel! Thank you for everything. It is a lovely little place just a few quick blocks off the main market square, so it is quiet but easy to get to all the shops/restaurants. The staff was lovely and friendly. Our room was fantastic and very comfortable.

We stayed four nights and the Relais was such a comfortable and beautifully designed temporary home. Loved our big room with a big bed and a great canalside view through those great, theatrically draped windows. Every place we wanted to go seemed to be just a few minutes away and it was always a great pleasure to return to our room after enjoying Brugge, a beautiful and very interesting city. We also went off adventuring every morning well-fuelled by the fine buffet breakfast.

Great location and very walkable to a lot of sites while not being in a noisy area. Most of the staff members were rude and curt when asked any questions. Asking them for more towels (since they only gave us hand towels) was met with annoyed responses - “Why do you need more towels?” “You shouldn’t need more towels.” “We aren’t giving you more towels.” This was just one example of behavior that was not to the level of a four star hotel.

We loved the historic preservation of the site. Lots of attention was given to using and displaying beautiful old pieces of furniture. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was full of diverse foods and served in a lovely room with a touch of old school elegance. We were glad to be able to open the windows a bit, however, because the heating was a bit much at times. We aren't used to heavy comforters, but that was a minor detail. The staff was especially helpful and we had questions. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely quaint room. Breakfast a bit pricey for €20 per person for what amounts to coffee and a cheese and ham roll.... other than that hotel was excellent.

I think this hotel was very nice. They need to update a few things. There were no hand towel racks near the sinks. The towels were very thin and grungy old looking. They need new fluffy towels and robes. They could also put essential oil diffusers in the rooms to combat the classic Bruges sewer smell. Overall great hotel, but needs some upgrades.

This was a very quaint hotel perfectly situated near the main touristic area. The reception staff were lovely and helped carry our luggage because our room was quite a distance from the check-in area and also down several stairs. The paid parking in the hotel’s garage was not super convenient but it’s not the hotel’s fault. There is limited car accessibility in that part of the city. So, just keep this in mind when booking this hotel. The breakfast was quite good. I’m not normally one to complain but our hotel room was quite noisy as it sat directly on the street level where cars whizzed by along the canal so try avoid a room like this if you can. It gets better during the night but if you arrive tired and jet lagged and want an afternoon nap, you will be a little frustrated by the street noise. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel and absolutely loved Brugge!!!

Our stay was an extreme disappointment. The hotel was rated with 4 stars & 9.2 guest rating, which was far cry from reality. Hotel pictures were beautiful, reflected the historical building. However, the decor were shabby- carpets are torn, stairway runners were threadbare, the bath towels are old & worn, no porter to help with bags, the curtains we’re ribbed. Expedia listed that this property has parking - it’s 3 blocks away (other properties indicate if parking are offsite). So many dishonest info. Furthermore, Breakfast selections were terrible. That said, the young lady @ the evening front seat were friendly & helpful. We asked for the porter, even though she’s the only one handling the guest check in, the bar, she suggested that she’ll take care of these heavy suitcases. Of course we didn’t have the heart to impose up on her. Should I say more?

Great location, big room, lovely bathroom. Could have been cleaner, cobwebs on lamps, lampshade on main light had a fingerprint in all the dust. Refilled coffee and creamer were just left on the desk, none of these concerns were a bug desl, just surprising in a hotel of this quality.

Perfect location
Perfect location on the banks of the canal. Easy 5 minute walk to the main market square. Pleasant quiet room with a very comfortable bed overlooking the garden. The bathroom had a lovely shower.

If you’re thinking about staying anywhere else then think again. We had a 2 day stay here and it was quite perfect. First off, the rooms alone were amazing with great views overlooking the outside canal. But even the lobby and bar areas are equally as pleasant with very friendly staff. Seriously the best place you can stay if you want to be within walking distance to EVERYTHING, including the bus stop! 10/10 would stay here again when we return!

We had reserved canal view rooms and were delighted with them. I worried that there would be a lot of noise, but we had the windows open every night without problem. In fact, I got one of the best night's sleep of our entire vacation. Although finding our room in the twisting and turning hallways was an adventure, and there was no elevator for a final set of stairs near our room, it was worth it for the charm and comfort we enjoyed there. The staff was also very helpful in reserving a taxi for our departure to the train station. I would happily stay there again.
