Clean, quiet, pet friendly, needs an update

This pretty much sums up the property. It's right off I-95 so it's very convenient. The front desk staff was pleasant and professional, especially Katie at check in. Pets are allowed for a small fee. The king sized bed in my room was super comfortable. The included breakfast had many choices, eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, muffins, doughnuts, cereal and more. Free wifi was also included. That said though the motel is getting a bit shabby and could use an update. The toilet ran, some of the carpets are getting worn. I'd stay here again.

Wrong room

Pros: Clerk was nice
Cons: Change beds for more up to date comfortable beds.
Location: Jekyll Island
When we arrived we were not given the bed that we had paid for. We were sent to a room on the first floor that had not been cleaned at all by house keeping. Beds had been stripped and cover towels etc were placed on bed. Next room the beds were so uncomfortable that both my husband and I woke up with neck and back aches.Terrible stay at your hotel.

Enjoyed myself

Decent hotel for the money

Pros: Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable and what you would expect for a 2.5 star hotel. Starbucks and IHOP are 2 doors down. Free wifi. Cons: There is no garden for a garden view for any room. I recommend using the do not disturb sign because housekeeping comes around very early and is very persistent. The pool is in the shade. The shower did not drain.

I definetly got what I paid for.

The phone rang both mornings at 6:15 for no reason. The first morning it rang again at 6:45. The second morning I took it off the hook after it rang the first time. The toilet randomly ran. The wi-fi was horrible. Couldn't keep a connection. The beds were hard and not enough pillows. No blankets on the beds. Breakfast was served from 6:00-9:00. At 8:30 when someone asked about more sausage they were told there wasn't anymore.

Honest employees

Pros: Cozy room
Have to say this was a great little place with honest employees. My husband left his ring in the room and realized it after we left. We were still in the area, so called to see if it had been found. The staff had his ring! Thank you to whomever found it and did the right thing!

We had to move three times to a decent room 1

First could not lock deadbolt. Second had king bed with reg sheet and mattress pad bare mattress showing. Third had ac set on low and would not shut off. Had to pillow s over vent. Had it not been a wasted hour we would not have taken this room. The hotel rate was less than yours. Worst hotel stay ever!!

Akward property design

Pros: The location to the interstate and the nightly rate
Cons: the design of the building. Add inside elevators
Location: Near I-95, Cracker Barrel, near downtown, Overall a good location
Arrived late and staff was pleasant and helpful. Placed us in a room that was very convenient to the elevators, ice machine,etc. Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Room temperature was excellent. The room rate was good for what was going on, on the property The design of the property was akward. Who builds elevators that are outside and don't have any elevators inside????? Property was being renovated and that can be okay, but no one wants to see the stipped down carpet etc outside in hallway and breezeway. There is potential for this to be a great hotel, just complete the renovations quickly.

the pillows like other places are too small breakfast on weekends do not have eggs or meat they had run out of milk for cereal
