Very clean roomPosted Nov 18, 2015
Our room was spotless but the hallways and side entrance was not very clean. The staff was friendly and professional. I'm a big fan of LA Quinta because they allow pets to stay free.

Pick another hotelPosted Oct 11, 2015
Pros: Comfortable beds animals can not get under, pet friendly,
We were traveling along the eastern coast to our new home with 2 animals in tow. We chose La Quinta because they are pet friendly. The three nights previous at La Quinta were absolutely wonderful. This one however was less than clean. The shower was deplorable (something sticky in the side of the tub like tape). My socks became black from the rugs. I turned the heat on for a few minutes (67 degrees when we arrived) and the smoke detectors went off. I went to use the washer but there was so much dirt on the top I changed my mind. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was somewhat manageable. (No decaf coffee, no tea bags, very little protein).

I wanted to let you know that I was concerned about your comments. Every guest stay is important to us, and we try to make sure all of guests have a restful and settled in stay. Smoke detectors sometimes go off when AC units are turned onto heat for the first time of the season. Sadly, we do have a lot of construction folks staying with us, so dirt on top of the washer can happen in just minutes. If guests will let us know about any issue they might have, we will do everything we possibly can to resolve it. Every guest is a priority to both myself and to the staff. We really are "here for you."

Pet friendlyPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, friendly staff
Location: Lots of restaurants within 10 miles
If you are traveling with pets I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean and there is plenty of grassy area outside for the pets. Continental breakfast is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Easy retreat on a long road tripPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Cleaning up the hallways.
Needed a place to stay that would allow earlier check in than normal. Had been driving all night and just needed to get some sleep. Staff was very helpful in finding me a room that was already clean and the check in process was seamless. Not the cleanest place, but clean enough that walking without your shoes in your hotel room didn't feel gross. Clean bathroom, sheets and carpet. Hallways needed a bit more care with a vacuum. Staff again was the reason I enjoyed my stay.

Needs much work.Posted Aug 13, 2015 on Hotels
We were here for three nights. When we arrived, well after check-in time, our room was not ready, and the elevator was being tiled; therefore it was not in service. There was only one cleaning lady on a floor of twenty plus rooms. She was working as hard as she could. Since we had already loaded our luggage onto a caddy, we asked if there was a place we could store it until the room was cleaned because we had made plans to be in nearby St. Marys. There was no place to store anything. The room was musty and still dirty - hair, dust, etc. The bed, though clean, was very uncomfortable. The hotel needs much work. At the same time, for a one-night stay right on the interstate as a place to sleep, it works. I do not recommend being here for an extended stay. While we were eating breakfast each morning, we heard multiple complaints from other customers.

I was very pleased!!Posted Aug 10, 2015
I was very pleased, and even though pets were allowed I didn't smell them in the rooms or see pet hair on the floors and that's a plus in opinion!! The prices are reasonable and it was close to our destination (Jykell Island), thanks I had a lovely experience!!
