Good Room/Good Price

Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: Advance notice of the surprise $100 charge would be nice.
Location: See the islands, General Chamberlain's home in town. Thai restaurant across the street.
Room was nothing special, but very adequate for my needs and especially at that price. HOWEVER, the motel charges a $100 deposit if you are paying by cash or debit card and, a week later, I still haven't received a refund. This wasn't revealed ahead of time, but is a surprise that they have waiting for you at check in.

Thank you Hamish for the feedback, much appreciated. Sorry you were not aware of the $100 deposit however, we do have it written on the site that there is a $100 deposit required at check in. The deposit on a debit card usually takes 5 to 7 BUSINESS days to go back to your account and that is also posted at the desk. Hope to see you again.

Comfortable, Friendly staff

Pros: Comfortable bed, micro and refrigerator, price.
Just spent 1 day in Brunswick. The hotel was a nice place to stay for the money. I would recommend staying here and visiting this friendly town.

Convenient location; nice walking trails

Pros: Reasonable price; clean, comfortable room
Location: Chose location for easy drive to Freeport without being pricey. Like the smaller quieter towns. There were great walking trails nearby.
Convenient location and nice little town. Walked some of the trails. Love the forest setting and ocean.

I can't recommend

The only good thing about this hotel is that it had a laundry. Room smelled bad. Beds uncomfortable...etc. the bathroom was clean. I think the washer and dryer were manufactured in the early 80's. Wouldn't have used them if we weren't desperate.

Although the washers and dryers were manufactured in the 80's, they are still very clean and operational. There is a laundromat located near our facility which has up to date equipment.

Stay at Relax Inn

Overall, the Relax Inn was very nice. The room was clean and quiet. The reason I gave the lower rating was because the outlet access was not that good, the room did not have a second nightstand, and the TV was not always cooperating. Beyond that, it was a normal stay, and not bad for the rate.

Bugs in bed. Room felt dark. One mattress okay, sort of. Other bent in middle. The woman at desk was wonderful! Informative, helpful, accommodating.

Not what I thought

We had a very small shower stall in bath room.Hard to manuer.No place for bathroom items in bath room.Double bed not a queen.person in next room had t.v. on till 3am every day could hear though wall..

Very nice room, good breakfast. Bad TV channel selection. Only one comfortable chair, second chair was like a desk chair, not too good for sitting reading or watching TV.
