This was our best hotel experience in past two years: from amenities like bikes, laundry, heated pool, anccess to sea island golf facility, and ample outdoor space to relax. The staff was also great; very good breakfast, and helpful staff, like Shelby who went out of get way to help w bikes, local access, and helped to make this a nice experience.

This property was nice, well decorated and well landscaped. The staff was super helpful and the free breakfast was good. (Several hot items and crispy bacon every day.) Only complaint was the squeaky coils in the box springs. Just turning over make a squeaky sound which woke up others sleeping in the same room.

Just stated one night to attend a funeral. Will stay again when in SSI. Only complaint was 2 of the 3 light bulbs were out over the vanity making it shadowy while dressing.

If you are staying in St Simmons Island or its vicinity, this is the place to stay. Affordable, quiet, excellent staff and lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. The room was impeccable as was the bathroom, and we had a great night sleep. Definitely coming back as the area has enough to do for a few days. Highly recommended.

Nice Perks at this Hotel!
The hotel is lovely, with a bar which hosts a Happy Hour on all drinks even top shelf along with choices of apps on their bar menu. The Bed was Super Comfy and the pillow are wonderful! Decor is very traditional but well kept. They have a heated pool, and outdoor seating areas with heaters. Our only possible down side was it’s not near the ocean front area. We were only spending a night passing thru on our travels. There are several shopping centers nearby and they also offer free bikes to use!

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The bathroom could have been cleaner, it was very dusty and needed a deep clean for the corners. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Melissa at the front desk could not have been more pleasant! Check in and parking was no issue. They have plenty of luggage carts available. We didn’t notice til a few hours later when we were getting ready to shower that there was No shower curtain. Thankfully Melissa came to the rescue and installed one fairly quickly, but we missed our dinner reservations. Then once we were preparing for bed, there was no privacy door sign….so we were disturbed twice by housekeeping. My husband is handicapped. We requested and received a handicapped accessible room, but there was only 1 grab bar for the entire shower and it was all the way inside the shower in the center of the wall, so noting to assist with getting in nor out of the shower. Also, the toilet is Not ADA approved it’s low like a regular toilet. Breakfast was tasty and staff pleasant, but disappointed in attention to detail in multiple areas, especially for this hotel to be associated even if only in name with Sea Island.

We were driving south to Florida and decided to make a stop on St Simon’s. We knew we wouldn’t have time for the beach, just wanted a safe, clean, nice place to stay. We picked the Inn at Sea Island for those reasons. Check-in was easy. Our room was nice and breakfast was very good. A step up from Hampton Inn with grits, crispy bacon and sausage along with real eggs. My husband enjoyed the oatmeal. A bonus was that we had also made a reservation for dinner at Halyards and later learned it was a 3 minute walk. This may not be the best place to stay if you want to walk to the beach or pier shops. But there is plenty to walk to near the hotel and a shuttle. And it looks like a great place for golfers. We enjoyed our quick stay.

Although it is not downtown, it is an easy drive to get there. They are next to some shopping centers. We used their bikes to explore and they offered us a map of the bike trails. They have a great happy hour from 5-6 at the bar and the breakfast is good. The place is quiet with plenty of parking available. We will be back.

First class hotel
The Inn at Sea Island is first class all the way! It is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is great. Highly recommend!
