OK hotel.

Staff was great. Rooms are getting old, door lock missing striker plate so less secure, slow drain in bathroom sink. Bed comfort was so so. If you are concerned about fire life safety they block the fire doors open (fire code violation).

im sorry for the inconveince. we try to put our guests who cannot climb our stairs on a bottom floor. I hope you stay with us again at Days Inn in Shallotte, NC

Hotel comfortable and ok

Room was comfortable. Sink was as you walked in the door. Closet door didn't open all the way due to bed location.

Decent for the price of quick weekend trip

Pros: The location and the free hot breakfast.
Cons: The buildig structure need to be upgraded.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The deadbolt lock on the first room assigned did not work, the desk clerk did not hesitate to change rooms for us , however, the second room was not as nice as toe first room. The bathroom door ws off track and would not close and the top left corner was badly damaged, when I called to alert the desk clerk and female answered and snidely stated "didn't you just move to that room". She was not as willng to accommodate us as quickly as the male attendant. The brekfast was pretty good for a small hot breakfast selection.

too much noise

Pros: the beds were comfortable, lots of pillows
Cons: too much noise
Location: good location, close to fast food & a Super Walmart
the back door slammed all night because nobody tied it shut in the storm. During the days the children, who must live there, run the halls making lots of noise. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is NOT it.

Pros: The cleanliness and the hot breakfast in the mornings. All Days Inns need the hot breakfast and need to upgrade like this one
Cons: The first time we stayed at the hotel the noise level of guests got very loud after midnight, so perhaps having a quiet policy after midnight
Location: Angelo's restaurant, very good Italian food
Both times we stayed at this hotel were fine. The second time we stayed we did have issues with the air conditioner in the room making different noises but the problem seemed to correct itself by the evening and the internet was out but that was fixed by the evening as well
