Awful beds

The only thing I did enjoy was the closeness to Myrtle Beach and the outdoor pool. The bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't get a good nights sleep, I didn't realize dogs were aloud in the rooms because all I heard all morning was barking! The housekeeping was terrible they knocked on our door at 8:30 and I said gives us an hour we were getting dress, they never came back so we had to call the front desk she was very nice and apologized for them and brought us some clean towels, I passed the housekeepers in the hall on several occasions not once did they smile or say hello, I really felt some type of way! The last thing I was not impressed about was they didn't have an elevator what and we were on the second floor all and all I can say I was very disappointed and will not stay here again!

A good place

Our stay was great. It is within minutes of a few popular beaches. To be not far from the beach, the Days Inn has great rates. The rooms are very nice.

Location: Shallotte NC 7 mile to beach in Ocean Isle. lots of restaurants with in 5 mile.
Toilet was clogged when we arrived, no elevators, hair dryer falling off wall, carpet out dated, our key cards stopped working 2nd day was staying 5 days, we were there had to get new ones. pool was nice lots of chlorine, beds not to bad. staff was courteous.Would check around next time but was ok.Breakfast pretty good.

I enjoyed staying here despite there being no elevator to and from the second floor.

Close to beach that's about the best I can say.

Our room was like staying in a bar. Smoke smell was BAD. Had a front desk person in training working alone and screwed up my bill big time. Still not resolved.

Noisy & loud

Pros: Staff, clean, bed nice, b'fast fine.
Cons: S O U N D !!!! Insulate ceiling, fix slamming outside door, control barking dogs.
Do not go here. Staff nice but Old hotel, not insulated for sound from room above....all night long. Slamming outside door solid from 5 am.....it's fixable. Barking dogs in lobby every morning. Ordered handicapped...didn't have. Worst stay in hotel ever

Would stay here again

We stayed here while in the area for a wedding. We appreciated being able to check in early to change clothes. Breakfast was good, too!
