First & Last Stsy

Location: Lots of good eating places right by & not from from main attractions that may be going on
Check in was ok. The whole 3rd floor smelt like cooking grease. The bed comforters were not fresh. They along with the windows and mirrors were covered in nicotine. The bedskirt had cigarette holes in it. It was my fault for not double checking that I was getting a smoke-free room. We had reserved 2 nights. Got there late Friday night. Left for the festival early Saturday morning at 5:30am. We returned back to the room Saturday afternoon & our key card failed. My husband went to the front desk and the lady told him to keep it away from his cell phone from now on. He keeps his cell, when carrying it, on his left and keeps his wallet in his right back pocket. I couldn't make myself stay there another minute. We gathered our bags and left. Will never stay there nor recommend again

I do apologize for the smell, however, people being displaced from the hurricane probably did some cooking in the room. We do strive to improve where ever we can. I will get with hk staff to ensure that even the smoking rooms should smell clean and fresh.

Horrible. Dirty. Worst continental breakfast I've ever experienced. Terrible coffee. Hallways smelled like stale smoke. Bedbug in bed!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Please tell me what would make the continental breakfast better, I am always open to guest suggestions, has far as bed bugs. We take routine preventative maintenance on all rooms to ensure the safety and health from these kind of bugs as well as the rest of all pests.

Nice hotel

This hotel was good for a 2 night stay. The continental breakfast was simple but nice. Staff was friendly. There's an elevator for upper floors. The room was clean, saw a few hairs on the bathroom floor, but wasn't that big of a deal. The hotel is literally right beside a Golden Corral & Smithfield's BBQ & Chicken. Ocean Isle is about 15 minutes away & Myrtle/North Myrtle Beach is about 30-40 minutes away. It's not really close to any attractions, that I can think of, but if that doesnt bother you then it's a great place to stay.

Happy to find a room on Sat. night at fair price

Pros: The desk clerk was the best feature.
Cons: The cleanliness could certainly be improved.
Location: The location was what we needed to be near family living by beach.
Happy to find a room on Sat. night at fair price, but room we booked was not available when we arrived. The desk clerk was very accommodating and made every effort to please, by providing us with what she had. The bathroom floor had quite a bit of hair on it, and the sofa bed on which I slept needed cleaning.

Decent hotel but very poor room layout and set up.

Pros: Staff and lobby.
Cons: Room needs everything re-done.
Hotel lobby was nice but the room was awful. Poor layout and amenities. Bugs in bathroom and rust all over bath tub ledge. Will not stay there again.

Disappointed

No refrigerator,microwave or coffee pot… no chairs in the room.we were there two nights and had to get our cards reprogrammed five times, we could not get in room.the room was very clean…

We do offer rooms with microwave/refrigerator and coffee pots as well a sitting chair and sofa. I do apologize about having to do the room keys over so many times. that can be annoying.
