A good hotel in a good location. Rooms are a good size, maybe a little tired here and there, but clean and well serviced. The prices seem to swing between about £70/night which is good value for the hotel and location, and £200 or more, which is not! Never between.
The TV has no English channels that work, but I don't travel abroad for TV
But, WiFi would be handy, especially with some mobile companies post-Brexit fees, but it is sadly nonexistent. I've stayed at the Bedford a few times, and the WiFi has always been dreadful.
The breakfast used to be included, but currently costs €12, which I think is fine for what's on offer - bread/croissants etc, cold meats and cheese, fruit, juice, cheese etc, and coffee machines that serve unremarkable but pleasant enough coffee. The hot food is limited to bacon and scrambled eggs in a couple of bain-maries, but it's ok. Oh and boiled eggs.
