Nice hotel

I loved the hotel, the breakfast buffet was appetising. Everything that i needed was given to me. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they let me borrow an adaptor since I didn't bring one. The only downside is the poor wifi.

Good location. The breakfast is excellent. Wireless was also great. The bathroom is also great and the room was clean, but the bed could be better as soon the lights in the room.

Great value for a pretty large room.

Pros: Value.
Cons: The elevator. Pretty slow.
Location: The legendary Brasserie Cantillon.
Stayed here for one night in January 2017. The room was pretty large. Three twin beds for some reason and a sofa. Plus an actual bathtub. Very good value. The breakfast was also good and complimentary. For beer lovers, it's walking distance to Cantillon. A win all around.

Don't choose "Superior Double Room"

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Internet ping time was good. Staff were very nice and helpful. Short walk from the Midi train station.
Cons: Change room 731 from "superior double" to economy. The ceiling height cannot be changed, but the room type can.
"Superior Double Room" is definitely not worth it. The room was on the 7th floor which is the top of the building. So the sloped roof of the hotel completely dominates the ceiling. Half of the room you cannot stand up straight. I could not sit on the end of my bed upright without my head hitting the ceiling. At the head of the bed there is very very little headroom at all. The bathroom door's door handle was barely even attached. When you pull on the door the handle comes away from the door. There was no shower curtain around the bath. The blind covering the bathroom window was fixed in place so I couldn't let in more light, and the lighting in the bathroom was terribly dim. The WiFi speed was at best 1 Mbps. If I knew about these issues I definitely would not have booked this place. The headroom alone makes the "superior" title fake. I understand the dimensions of the room cannot be changed, but how could they call this a superior room. How much worse could the non-superior rooms be? Unrelated to the quality of the hotel, I had to check out early for medical reasons. The staff were very helpful and refunded me my remaining nights. The professionalism of the hotel was perfectly fine, but the room I was in ruined my opinion of the hotel.

ME AND MY WIFE WERE SO HAPPY DURING OUR 2 DAYS

Pros: EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT.
Cons: THE WORRY IS THAT I PAY THE FULL AMOUNT OF 100.30 BY CASH BUT THE AMOUNT £43-- WAS MISTAKENLY TAKEN FROM MY CARD THAT SHOULD BE REFUNDED BACK TO ME.
Location: IT WAS A VERY EASY PLACE TO FIND IN AN GOOD LOCATION WITH EASY TRANSPORT FACILITIES.
I WISH I COULD GO AGAIN TO BRUSSELS AND STAY AT THE SAME HOTEL.

You get what you pay for

Cons: It'd be great if customer service was better -- even with the lack of clean rooms, a smile goes a long way.
Location: The location was nearby Brussels South Station -- only a 9-minute walk. Cantillion Brewery is about 1 mileThe airport is about 20 minutes away by car.
For about 50 euro per night, I suppose this mediocre hotel is to be expected. The service was lackluster -- I asked for the sheets to be changed because there was a spot of blood on them and was gruffly told that it would be hours...well, it's almost a week later, and I'm still waiting! (j/k I only spent a night there but they didn't change the sheets all night). Upon check out, the printer wasn't working so I couldn't receive a statement. The front desk person was unapologetic but did offer to e-mail it to me, which she did several hours later. The "clean" towel on the rack had someone else's hair on it. The elevator did a jump when it stopped that was scarier than any rollercoaster I have ever been on and I am a roller coaster junkie. The free buffet breakfast had someone stale food but was eatable. The game room was the highlight -- XBOX, Two Mac computers with free Internet access, etc. Sadly, one can't spend the whole night in the game room!
