Clean & efficient

Pros: Clean & efficient
Location: The general area is not pretty, a bit seedy.
Corridors & various lifts make it feel like a rabbit warren, but it did work,,, it was practical.

Good location - can walk to the station in a few minutes and many metro stations nearby as well as restaurants and take outs Decent breakfast Rooms a tiny bit shabby but overall comfortable Metro stations take your money for a day pass and issue a single journey - with absolutely no staff inside to help - warning for those trying to travel by metro!

Not a safe neighborhood

A family of 3 lost their handbags which were stolen by the thief in cafeteria inside hotel in the morning within one minute. They lost passports and money. Never leave belongings unattended.

Great place to stay if you're sightseeing

Pros: The continental breakfast included is excellent. Huge choice and lovely dining area.
Cons: Rooms are basic, one bedside light wasn't working but still great place to stay if you're sightseeing.
Location: This hotel has metro, tram and buses very close by. Easy to get to Grand Place and other museums around.
This hotel is very close to Gare du Midi station and has another metro line over the road. Excellent, central place to stay if you're using public transport to get around.

Not worth it

Cons: The rooms and elevator needs a serious upgrade!! We were so disappointed we had to check out early.
Even though this is a 10 minute walk from Midi station, 5 minute walk to Cantillon and 20 minute walk to Grand Palace, we will most likely not be coming back to this hotel. We checked out two days early because we were just so disappointed. The hallway to the elevator was dark and the floors were uneven. The elevator had not been cleaned...ever. The room was not what the pictures showed. Instead of dark wood furniture, we were met with primary coloured dressers and closets. There were stains all over the walls, and also on the curtains. We got two small pillows for sleeping...like that would be great if we weren't full grown adults. The shower didn't have a proper shower curtain. Only a piece of glass that let water flood the floors. Also, the shower clogged twice while we were there. Don't let the price lure you in! It needs a serious upgrade!

Great Location and nice staff

the staff was great, helpful and very nice.. the hotel is located conveniently near the metro train of south Brussels station (midi) and totally a walking distance to the downtown. Had a great time there. Will recommend to others.

Hotel close to Midi station Brussels

Tired, not in the nicest area, could have had a restaurant and bar. Drinks and snacks only available via a vending machine, not what you want from a hotel. No tea and coffee facilities available in the rooms and lift makes a noise every time it was used. Would not stay there again.

Economy hotel near the station.

Pros: Location is good. Breakfast is also good. Free wifi is good to study the sight-seeing and shopping spots.
Cons: We need the boiling pot to make coffee and noodle, and the refrigerator to store beer and wine.
Five nights stay. For two days, we enjoyed the center of Brussels, and we took the train for Amsterdam to go to the Museums including Goch Museum. The last two days were spent on driving to Gent, Brugge, and Antwarp by rent-a-car which we pick up at the train station and dropped at the airport. Brugge is the very nice town to walk around. The next time we want to stay at Brugge.

Good hotel near Midi South train station

Pros: It is convenient for the train travel across Belgium. At the train station, I bought a rail pass with 10 trips for 77 euro to visit Gent, Antwerp..
Cons: no tea pot in the room
Location: good location, easy walking
My second time, I would stay again. It is easy 10 min walking to the train Midi station.

Not too far from the Central of Brussels!

Pros: Clean, fresh breakfast, staff members, the lounge and the security!!!
Cons: The flushing system must be repaired!!! Way too noisy
Location: Quite near the city!
The security, the hygiene and the member of staff were superb, but there was constant noise from above flights when they were flashing toilets!!! Way too noisy!!! Could not sleep! Apart from that, It was a great place to stay!
