I woud go back in 2 conditions. The garden must be clean including the lake for the fishes and refurnished.otherwise, good standard.

Convenience and value

Pros: Location and value
Cons: Entrance
Location: Very accessible.
It was very close to the train station allowing us to travel to other destinations in the neighbourhood as well as to downtown Brussels. The value was also very good and the staff was accommodating.

Good location

Bed very comfortable, breakfast good. Room damaged furniture and hallways looked as if ghey had nit been cleaned for days. Fine for a onenight stay

A decent typical 3* Hotel - the vending machine will be your life blood for water, the walls are paper thin, but the cleaners do a good job the bath was great though shower could be like getting shot at with water and in general there can be problems if you put your key card near change, phones or cards, but the hotel will sort it or offer to hold it whilst you're on holiday. There are restaurants nearby that are decent, they did not mind us getting takeaway delivered and they were decent although every now and again they might get shirty. But we had other guests hammering on the doors and walls for fun and one had a party from 11pm to 4am... at 1am I tried to phone down to the reception to complain or just ask them to check there was not a dangerous situation going on but they put a sticker of the reception number over the screen to discourage you from using the phone and when I called no one seemed to want to answer it anyway.

Nice reception and breakfast - terrible room

Our room looked nothing like the photos. It was so old, dark and dingy with a bath that was stained. We are husband and wife (no kids) and were put in a “double” room with a bunk bed crammed in. The double was two singles pushed together which really is frustrating! Opened the window and it we t out to a really strange area that was like the center of the earth a dark, hot hole. No fresh air, no views of the city just a dark shoot that we were at the bottom of. Best part of the hotel - entrance and the breakfast.

Shocking

The hotel was okay to look at, but then you get past reception. The rooms were cramped and the bathroom in both rooms booked was filthy. One was clogged and had dirty water while the other had dirt streak marks across the bath it was vile. The beds were not clean and the rooms were both cold. The staff were not helpful at all. The only positive was the breakfast in the morning.

Worst Place I’ve Ever stayed

I understand that when I picked this hotel is because the price was cheap, but I didn’t expect Expedia to advertise such an old rotten establishment. Everything is old in this place. The floors by the elevator has hole underneath the carpet. The carpets are old and rotten, the stairs is so old and scary. The halls are so tiny that you can’t even walk comfortably on your own when you carry a luggage. It is a fire rush establishment. Expedia should never put this hotel on their website. You’re endangering your customers by that. Never again that I would pick any of your supposedly “BEST RATE”. It’s a scam from your end Leung to people saying it’s a best rate yet it’s not even close to a nice hotel. When I think of best rate or great deal, I would expect to pay less yet get same good quality of establishment in a lower price. I would think that it’s not offered all the time but only in special occasions.
