Very decent choice for 1 night near the airport

Posted Sep 13, 2016
What an agreable surprise! We were looking for a hotel to spend just one night near the airport before an early flight. The pentahotel was perfect. The room was a bit tight, but very modern. The lounge was very inviting.

Situated close to Airport and not in the city

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Taxi is damn expensive to move around because of the hotel being almost outskirts of the city. Breakfast is good in the hotel. No lunch or dinner can be your favorite. Drinks also too much expensive.

service is everything, everything this lacked

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: rooms (apart from single bed) and layout/design. the food was great too (once i got served)!
Cons: service, staffing levels.
Location: located near the airport. not much to do in the area, but most people who stay there are there for the airport i presume.
it was not a good start, only one person handling the bar/check-in area. he assured us that another person was on their way, but when he arrived finally he went to the office and didn't appear for quite some time. i waited 45 minutes to order my food and the chef had to come out to assist at the bar - which he did not know what he was doing... responsible service of alcohol anybody...? once i checked in, the room was great. not overly big, but who cares. i requested a queen bed, but got 2 singles which was disappointing, but again i was not concerned and did not bother requesting a change after my issues at check in. my room was located near the bar area and a group of gentlemen stayed up quite late and were making a considerable amount of noise which i could hear in my room. normally i wouldn't mind, but i had a 6am flight the next morning, so some quiet would have been nice. overall the hotel was amazing in design and look. just unfortunate that it was running how it was. with some better management, it could be an amazing place to stay at and eat/drink at. the food was actually really good.

Airport Hotel, Brussels

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: Location & price.
Cons: All things to do with food. Communication.
This is a nice hotel. Smallish rooms are clean and well appointed. A little trendy and dark interior, lots of wood and leather, but with very good outdoor spaces. Staff did not mention airport shuttle stops at gate, not front door, and at dinner - 7:00 PM - all was closed except for the option of 1 of 3 pizzas. I think the kitchen closes at 6:00 PM, too early for me. I went for breakfast at 6:30 AM only to be told no hot foods were available - only cold. There are too many small things wrong to go again, I would choose another hotel next time.

Dear Maureen, Thank you for your feedback. Great to read that you loved our design. I truly apologize for the communication errors that occurred during your stay. We indeed have a free shuttle from-and-to the airport that stops at the dedicated penta bus stop at our parking entrance. This should have been communicated more clearly. Our hotel normally provides extensive dining possibility from 11am to 10:30 pm and smaller variety 24 hours a day. Due to the extreme low occupancy, the day of your stay, only the smaller choice range was offered. However, even then, the choice is plentiful and not limited to pizza's. I apologize for this, as this may not have happened. Thanks to your comment, we will inform all employees to communicate this more clearly. I sincerely hope that you give us the chance to make wrongs right again. Best regards, Kristof Lemmens / General Manager

OK Place for one night

Posted Jul 16, 2016
Pros: Complimentary transportation to the Brussels Airport
Cons: Better maintenance on their room air conditionaires!
The staff was friendly and the meal choice adequate. However the room was small and the air conditionaire was hardly working and the room was too warm for an enjoyable rest.

we were stcuk in Brussles for 5 extra days after the terrorist attack. we wanted to go home so bad but our flights kept getting cancelled. we finally got a flight out of Paris and the staff at Pentahotel went way out of their way to get us a ride to Paris and make the time spent at the hotel the best it could be. the room was great, the food fantastic and like i said, there are no better people that those at Pentahotel, from the desk clerk to the door man to the maid.....beautifly kind souls and ill remeber their kindness always

Funky hotel

Posted Feb 5, 2016
Pros: The atmosphere.
Cons: Free WIFI @ 256kbs is NOT free, it is VERY expensive. If WIFI is going to be offered as free then make it valued, make it damn fast.
Location: Not really much to do around the hotel.
A little out of the way, but well worth the 'trip' once you arrive. Warm welcome, nice buzz in reception - which is at the Ne of the bar. Big room, comfy bed, pity I had no time to enjoy the free movies.

Cheap. Room size explains why.

Posted Jan 18, 2016
The rooms are so small they were designed with hobbits in mind. I'm not a large person but squeezing my self between the bed and the wall just to walk to the washroom was a bit silly. With two of us in the room and our luggage there was literally no place to stand. Had I been sent on a mystical journey to middle earth with a ring destined for destruction, these rooms would have been fitting. However due to having regular human size proportions I felt a bit cramped. This was no Erindor. The lobby is simply awesome though. If you don't care about the room size and want to partake in libations; then the lobby is a grand place for a dwarfen Lord.
