I made reservations on Expedia (72087019425471 ) for my son, Azan J. Finch, and his wife and four year old son, for the Sheraton Brussels Airport beginning early in the morning of April 25. On Tuesday, April 20, at 11:30am I confirmed these reservations directly with Sheraton (Sheraton Agent Belinda at (800) 325-3535).
There were no warnings of travel restrictions on the Sheraton Website, on the Expedia Website or by the Sheraton authorized representative Belinda. Belinda explained the Sheraton hotel was just eighty feet from the Arrivals Terminal directly across the street and my family could easily walk there.
All three of my kids are US Citizens and carrying US Passports. They had completed their vaccination for Covid and had received negative COVID test results within 72 hours of their arrival at the Brussels Airport.
Nonetheless, and despite no notice, my kids we’re denied access to the Brussels Airport Hotel by Belgian Immigration Authorities.
They immediately called the Sheraton and explained their dilemma and then were forced to spend eight hours in the airport.
Since this cancellation was due to no fault on the part of my kids, is there anyway you could see fit to refunding their money for the one night?
Thank you, James D. Finch
