Short visit to Brussels
The apartment was ok, but it’s in residential building and nothing can lead us to the office. We looked for it for long time, then we called the number and we found out that it’s located far from the map. The policy to check out at 10:30AM, but the office allowed us to leave the luggage in his office where it’s located on the back road. The beds were not comfortable and even the washroom was not very nice.

The people at the check-in and check-out were nice and helpful. The location was great and the apartment was tidy and spacious. However, I and other family members got bitten several times by something in the apartment. My arms have bumps all over them. I was told I would hear back about this but I have not heard back.

Great location, spacious room, BUT .......
Looking at reviews, means that not all properties are the same. First the good news, the location is excellent and the rooms are spacious. However ..... The place is tired and the walls in the bedroom are grubby. There is no tea towel in the kitchen which is a shame and only two coffee sachets. No tissues either. It is VERY noisy being on a road and they hadn't thought about double glazing. Might get chilly in the winter. The bathroom is ancient and a bit dingy, with some mouldy woodwork. Checkin (not at the premises, but close) was OK once we found it but it is an uninspiring walk up which looks like it used to be a small shop in a former life. A washing machine would have been a nice touch as would a safe have been - isn't a safe a standard feature these days? WIFI is flaky, slow and drops out. Tried to add photos and got this message "We didn’t get all of your photos. Feel free to reload these images or submit your review.". Case closed your honour! Lastly the curtains in the bedroom. Blackout? No. Sun is up these days at 4:00 ish and not dark till 10:00 and street lights on all night.

Very poor!
While the property itself was pleasant enough, there were extensive roadworks immediately outside the property which had been going on for months and made it impossible to arrive at the property and unload our vehicle. Given I had been at the 'check in office' a block away just minutes before and informed them we had a car, you would think they might have said there were roadworks which meant we couldn't drive down the street or even get close to the property. Had we been informed, we would have returned the hire car and taken a cab. In addition, the noise from the roadworks which started at 6am made it difficult to sleep and really impacted our quiet enjoyment of the property. Very poor service. Very poor management. Stay somewhere else!

Bedding and towels weren’t crisp or fresh, not hotel standard. Very noisy location. Was on fifth floor, two stories above a casino on the third floor. No air conditioning and thus had to keep windows open and casino drew loud, drunken late night crowd. A total disappointment

Spacious apartment in central location
The location is right in the heart of Brussels, close to De Brouckere metro station, and in easy walking distance of the Grand Place, Cathedral, main shopping and restaurants. The apartment was large and neat and everything is provided within the apartment including little shower and shampoo, even an emergency dental kit. Well worth price we paid and we would definitely stay there again if we ever returned to Brussels.

Very good location and spacious apartment
It's very onveniently located in front of a metro stop and shopping centres. The apartment is very spacious, big living room and kitchen. Rooms are comfortable. The staffs were very helpful to us, always tried to answer our queries and gave us a hand for things we need.

I never write reviews but this time I had to... If I hadn't called because our flight was going to be late I would have had no idea that the key to the apartment was blocks away. Then getting charged $30 euros due to our flight being delayed is just ridiculous. The apartment is beautiful but the location above bars that are open and extremely noisy all night makes for no sleep. Then add to that road work out front starting very early and making access to the building dangerous. It just doesn't deserve the high rating or the high price.

Excellent appartment just the wrong week to be there. Lift broke down as we returned with shopping, office in next street sent young man to carry groceries to 5 floor. Major construction work at front door meaning we exited and entered appartments via car park 6am to 6 pm Big problem for me as I could reach key pad to enter building after 6pm. Bathrooms were clean but dreadful drain odour, the office sent cleaner to neutralise smells, improved

Be prepared for a difficult check in if you arrive late in the day. Waze gets confused with blocked streets. After you get into the apartment it is very good, comfortable, good space, very convenient location to walk around the main touristic points. During summer the lack of air conditioning bothers u in the hot evenings. Overall I do recommend this location.

Great stay, a little hard to figure out the checkin process as it is in a different building and on a different street; however if you read the directions on the door you can figure it out easy enough. The parking is in public parking lots around the facility. Great place to stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Only thing to improve was to provide more towels, and a kitchen clean every couple of days or few days as part of the price. The apartment was otherwise well stocked and of a great size with great cable tv channels and great wifi. Would recommend or use again.

Stayed for four nights, couple with teenage child. Very comfortable beds, clean and tidy apartment, felt very safe and secure. Great view over the plaza but somewhat noisy during working hours and in the evening due to construction, street musicians, street cleaners, etc. Slept very well though. Fantastic transport connections and close to pedestrian-tourist areas.

This apartment was convenient to the Grand Place. It was slightly inconvenient to check-in at a different location, but it was basically just a block or two away so it wasn't bad. The apartment itself was awesome. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room/dining area and a full kitchen. We wish we had planned to stay here longer. We'll definitely look into staying here again if we ever find ourselves back in Brussels. It was very clean, but the lighting could use a little improvement.

Spacious apartment ever stayed
The name Opera Residence is easy to be confused with Opera Hotel on the same street (which is car restrict area). When we arrived by Taxi, the driver was confident to point us to the Opera Hotel(No. 53?). Dragging luggage and pushchair, we went in the Hotel reception and only redirect to a wrong way. After 20 minutes with the help of local strangers, we found the reception (No. 23). The apartment is located in the building opposite to the reception and the door opens to the other street. They belong to the group 'ApartmentsApart'. We were allocated to 302 where there is kitchen, bath room, shower room, two toilets and two bedrooms. The sitting room is very big. Balcony is facing to the side of Opera (La Monnaie De Munt). However the wifi in our apartment is not working but we can use wifi in 202 and 303 (same password). The apartment is locate by the bus stop so street noise cannot be avoided. It is close to most of view by walking. No need to use Metro. We took taxi when arriving but I prefer using Metro if not with too many luggage and child. Car park is available for 20 euro per night. Reception close on Sunday so you need to sort everything out before it close. The last night we stayed in, a group of young people checked in late and make lot of noise by shouting and moving furniture and I had to ring the emergency number to ask the staff to make them stop. And it worked. Check out time is 1030 due to the big area to clean. Overall, it is a very good choice for us.

Pros: Excellent location for sightseeing, very spacious, very good rate. Also excellent parking facility, which must be confirmed in advance. Cons: Not suitable for people intending to sleep at night! Street noise would start at around midnight and go on till 5am. Also, the rest of my family complained about the beds being terrible hard. The location of the bedrooms, and an apparent lack of soundproofing are completely wrong. The availability of two bathrooms and two WCs was great, BUT the quality of the showers was poor: One did not have a wall holder, while the other was simply cheap, so it would just droop while showering.

Great location, spacious apartment! Check-in office is in different block from apartment, troublesome walking with all the luggages. Not enough lightings in the apartment, kitchen hood not working. A bit concern about the security issues: a stranger standing in the apartment lobby claiming himself as cleaner and ask which flat we're staying. Please don't disclose any details to anyone except staffs in office!

This is not a hotel, it is a residence in fact. The check in location is different from the actual living location. This made lots of trouble, we have to go several blocks away to find it. This is not an easy thing for foreigners who first visits Brussels. When we went out finding the check in location, we met a lot of strange persons singing songs behind us at around 6:00-7:00 pm ....scared. But the room is very nice with a large lounge and large kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Locates at the center of Brussels which makes everything easy to approach.

A hassle to find and NO service
Great location. Big, clean, apartment. However, the shower hose was just inches above the bathtub. You MUST hold it if want to wash above the waste. Also, one of us had to sleep on an uncomfortable foldaway sofa. My reservation included 3 adults and a child and this is seldom an issue. Most importantly, this is NOT A HOTEL. There is NO service. The apartments are scattered throughout a small area. It took a while to find where to check in only to be redirected to another building where our apartment was located. Smartphone maps didn’t help; we had to call the office to find them. We checked out on Sunday and our flight out was not until later. Since the office is closed on Sundays we dragged our bags around - there was no place to leave them. We had 2 tiny bathroom gel tubes. When I asked for more they promised to try to get us some and noted that they expected 2 people although, as I mentioned before, my reservation was for 3 adults and child. No additional gels were ever brought. Also, they charged us for “late check-in”. I don’t have to worry about such small print when I get a “normal" hotel room. Overall, I'm not likely to come back. I may be willing to work through the hassle as the price, the accommodations and the location may be worth it, but it’s a lot more work and risk than a regular hotel room.
