Great little hotel
Great staff, great little hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Any minor issues were quickly addressed. The hotel is very well located, close to lots of restaurants and stores. Walking distance from luxury boutiques like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior. The elevator only fits three people at a time but it wasn't very busy during our stay. It's about a 30 minutes walk to the Grand place and too cold to do in the winter but it was only a 10 EUR Uber ride and the Ubers show up quick in Brussels. Breakfast has lots of options and is definitely worth it. I read reviews that the walls are thin and it gets loud but there must have been no one on our floor as we didn't hear anyone else.

We chose this hotel last minute as we had to leave our other pre-booked hotel due to unforseen circumstances and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel was very nicely decorated, smelled lovely as though it was perfumed with lavender and was very welcoming. The staff were lovely and quick to help us and the room itself was probably the nicest I've ever stayed in (I have stayed in some dumps as I tend to travel on a budget!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was warm and there was underfloor heating. As well, there was a Nespresso machine included in the room and the whole place was just so welcoming and comfortable. It isn't smack in the middle of the centre however the nearest metro station is less than a 10 minute walk and the centre is only a few stops away, whilst there are lots of restaurants and shops just a short walk away from the hotel. Highly recommend!

The Scoot experience
My hotel experience at the Scoott was generally alright. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: The hotel's location was very central and conveniently close to public transport, which made it easy for me to attend my meetings and explore the city. The hotel was surrounded by excellent restaurants, giving me the opportunity to try local dishes (moules-frites) of high quality. My room was clean and was cleaned again on the second day. There was a Nespresso machine in the room, which allowed me to enjoy my morning coffee in the comfort of my room. Cons: When I arrived on my first day, the room wasn't properly aired, and I could detect an unpleasant odor, possibly from it being closed for some time. I had to open the windows to get rid of the smell. The heating in my room (204) wasn't functioning properly. On my first night, it was quite cold, and I had to call the reception. They promised to check the entire system, but the situation didn't improve much. The issue with the heating persisted on my second night, indicating that they may need to review their central heating system or ensure their radiators are properly bled for them to function effectively.

Pleasant and beautiful
Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast, good quality food. In the safe neighborhood, we could walk to the main square within 25 minutes. Towels in the bathroom are very small! Also water was not replenished on the second day. But would recommend anyway.

Pretty good location, small elevator
Rooms lack fridges but staff let us store stuff in their lobby fridge. The elevator is tiny and holds only 3 people but that's based on an assumption that people weigh ~240 lbs so we mostly disregarded that restriction and it worked fine. There are multiple transit stations and several restaurants within a short walk. There's also an incredible playground nearby.

City stay in Brussels.
Quiet residential location with walkable easy access to metro and only a few stops away from Brussels Midi/ Eurostar. Hosts were friendly. Comfy bed with spacious room and clean bathroom but the elevator is very slow and takes forever to wait for it.

It has a very nice minimalist aesthetic, love the lighting, I won’t expect anything too fancy if you like extravagant hotels, I enjoyed my stay. Lovely area and not too far from metro, also walkable to a nice area. Will book again.
