Comfortable hotel near shopping

Pros: Large size room.
Cons: Better lighting in the bedrooms.
Location: Well located by the major shopping streets
It was a short stay. The room was very big and comfortable although poorly lit and the design was quite dated. Polite staff. Breakfast was average. The meeting room facilities were average.

Good hotel, excellent central location.

Pros: Easy access to public transport for getting around the city. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced for a city centre hotel.
Cons: Larger room service menu and not really a proper desk in room
Location: Around 10 minutes tram ride from centre of city, 5 minutes walk from Louise metro station, which in turn is about 10 minutes from Brussels Midi
Arrived mid afternoon Friday, everything was in order regarding check-in and room. One minor problem was immediately sorted out. I spent some time in the reasonably equipped gym which is part of the spa (quite a trek as it is underground). WiFi worked well in room and good selection of standard TV channels as well as usual pay formats (all driven by Apple TV). Check out was smooth on Sunday with a secure location to leave you bags.

Good value hotel in EU capital.

Good for high-end shopping and local restaurants/bars. A 25 minute walk to the Grand Place in the city centre.

Great hotel for visit to Brussels

Stay at this hotel for business but great for getting out for a walk and easy to go sight seeing. Staff very friendly, rooms very clean and spacious, good value for money.

Lovely hotel!

Beautiful hotel, in a great location on Avenue Louise. Room 505 was lovely and quiet and had a sauna in the bathroom - amazing! Would definitely go back to this lovely hotel.

Modern & Clean, friendly Staff

We arrived at the Hotel Lobby a few hours before the Noon check-in time tired and jet-lagged. The Front Desk Clerk allowed us to check in early & even upgraded our room. The Hotel lobby is bright, clean & colorful, & they always have fresh mint & lime infused water on hand. The room was spacious & modern. We overlooked the busy main street & Muni train but because of 2 double-paned windows & sliding doors, you couldn't hear any outside noise. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, & everything functioned as it should. We didn't pay up front for Daily breakfast because it seemed a bit over priced, but we were told that if we came to the Front Desk in the morning we would be given a discount card to use. Out of the 5 days, we ended up having breakfast 2 mornings & for some reason, the price dropped on the weekends so we didn't need the discount card. There was a good variety of food for every taste, & there are 2 coffee/cappuccino machines. The local restaurant scene was really great so we never ate dinner at the Hotel, but it always seemed to be full, as was the Bar. We would definitely stay at this Branded Hotel if available in other European Cities

Great position hotel

Large, comfortable room in nice area of Brussels at a very good price

Rubbish One Night Stay!

Cons: Staff should pay more attention to special requests on booking forms when allocating rooms.
I have stayed at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie numerous times when staying overnight in Brussels on business and it has become my hotel of choice . I have always asked for a quiet room and until now have never been disappointed. On this occasion my request for a quiet room was ignored and I was allocated one was right next to the lift (Room 101!). The room vibrated every time the lift operated which was frequently and all through the night.

Perfect hotel for a business trip

Cons: Better gym equipment
Location: Chic area in places, nice shops, lovely fin de siecle architecture. Good, non-touristy restaurants in the Châtelain.
I booked this hotel for myself and four colleagues for a work trip to Brussels, knowing the Thon Brand from my trips to Norway. The rooms are apparently some of the biggest in the city, and mine was no exception! One of the biggest I have ever stayed in. Really huge, comfortable bed, good linens, seating area, tasteful decor and multi-country TV channels. The breakfast was varied and good quality, the general ambience nice and it was only 20 minutes walk into the centre. The hotel itself is in a really chic area of Brussels on Avenue Louise, and I discovered lots of beautiful fin de siecle architecture in the area on my day off. It was nice to be out of the centre which I found to be quite grotty and stuffed full of tourists. The only downsides were the gym, which was rather small and not very well-equipped and some of the reception staff were a bit grumpy/not very helpful.
