Ironically, there's not much value in staying here.
The rooms looks like there hasn't been any maintenance in the past decade. Quite annoying continuous buzz noise from inside the building (elevator? other installation?).
Beds & matrass were old and provided limited support.
Don't expect much. You can sleep here, you'll survive, but not much to enjoy.
We have relatives close to the hotel who could not offer us a room and so we stay at this hotel for convenience. Unfortunately I cannot really comment on anything other than the room as we only sleep there.
In desperate need of renovation, deep cleaning and repairs ( faulty fan, broken cupboard hinge - sharp piece of metal sticking out causing risk to safety, not working TV). Unfortunately, there wasn't anyone at the reception to speak to or report issues.
Good, comfortable stay, but more attention to detail is needed. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work, which caused the bathroom not to smell as nice as the room. The toilet flush worked sporadically. The kettle did not work properly. Coffee, sugar and other consumables were not readily available. Extra pillows are free, but where are they? At the time of going to bed and needing them there is no one in reception and it hardly counts as an emergency; why not make some extra pillows and blankets available in the cupboards?
Comfortable and clean. Restricted access due to pandemic so arrive early to ensure entry.. otherwise you might book and pay.. but can't get in!

Hi LittleHotel, thank you for your review. For your security and the security of our co-workers we like avoid human interaction. in case of emergency there is a number you can call to ask for help, the reception will reopen for a few hours. don't hesitate if you have other questions. best regards,
Front desk was nice and helpful, unfortunately no 24 hour service. Room smelled, beds could be more comfortable. Location close to public transportation.

Dear Jacki,
thank you for choosing Value Stay. We have budget accomodations and our guests decide the cleaning shedule. the cleaning is included before arrival and after departure and in Executive rooms. all other cleaning demands are bookable at the reception for an extra cost. For really busy nights, we have an underground parking bookable for 12€ per car per night.
Best regards,
Hi dear,
thank you for your review.
We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the hot weather in Belgium.
We will forward your idea to the management.
Best regards,
Hi dear,
Thank you for your review.
The reception hours are reduced to be able to offer you the best price in the area.
There is an emergency number you can call in case of difficulties or problems. you will find this number on the confirmation of your reservation or in the entrance hall.
You will find the taxi number at the reception.
Best regards,
No doubt it’s value for money. Rooms were rather hot despite the weather being cool so sleeping wasn’t easy until room cooled with open window.
Friendly staff throughout stay.
Booked just 30mins before arriving. It was a last minute discision to stay an extra night before the long journey home. The hotel is in a business suburban area, the adjoining restaurant is quite expensive, they have no competition as there is nowhere else to eat or drink in the neighbourhood.

Hi dear,
Thank you for your nice review.
The closest is of course Restaurant Rijckendael. it is situated right next to the hotel.
They offer a french cusine with quality products and this may infulance the price.
There are about 10 retaurants within 1 km distance from the hotel.we will make a list and put it close to the reception so you can choose next time.
have a great day
A truly value stay. Although it seems close to the city center by distance (about 11km) getting there by public transport is slow and, at rush hour, unpleasant as well. Consider that if you plan to commute to the city center for work.
Horrible experience. I paid the money for one night and there was no one there one i got there.

Kind reagrds,
The room was functional. Parking was easy in the surrounding area, so that was a bonus and it was a short walk to the Expo, which was ideal. It was quite a long walk to get out of the residential area and to an area with restaurants, but there was a nice one about 20 mins walk away.
Local hotel located quite close to airport. Room was clean and tidy, bed a little on the soft side. Check in was fine, didn't have breakfast so no comment there.
Value Stay Brussels Expo Hotel is exactly what you would expect from the name. It is a great value in close proximity to the expo center and is an ideal place to stay for anyone attending an event at the expo center. The only downside is that it is a EUR 20 Uber to the downtown area where all of the good restaurants and bars are located.
The reception was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel managed to organise a special gluten free bread for my wife's breakfast. The room was quiet, but the hotel was near the airport so some disturbance was intermittently experienced. would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very important info, if this is your first stay in this hotel:
1. Reception doesn’t work after 7 pm
2. You have to check your email after booking and you will find check in information. After that you will find envelope with you key in safe of reception
This hotel is very close to Atomimium and Expo Center. Easy to acces Brussels city center by bus 231, 232. Hotel has free parking space as well. Love this hotel
Our room was large and comfortable. It is within walking distance of the Atomium and bus stops if you want to go to the center of the city

Everything you need
If you are visiting the convention centre this is a great close place to stay. No it is not fancy but staff very nice, rooms comfortable and a very quiet residential location. No restaurant on site but several nice places within a few minutes walk. Clean and quiet with excellent wifi it is perfect for a budget business stay.
+ Clean and modern building and room small and minimalist but good. Very helpful and friendly desk staff. Easy to find from the ring road and good park facilities. Good breakfast. Nice neighbourhood with lots of bars and a few restaurants within reasonable walking. Premium Inn like facilities but better.
- It's definitely not near the centre or east public transport so you do need a car or taxi.
