Wi fi unreliable &virtually useless away from recetion/lounge. TV not working, 1 day after reportng maintenance turned up & agreed that it wasn't working, never saw him again. Breakfast was good.

Dirty carpets

The only good thing about this hotel is thata is very close from the train station (10 min walk) The carpet is very dirty. The elevator only works up to the 5th floor, I was in the 6th so I had to carry the luggage because the staff doesn’t do it. I ended up staying at a different hotel, because this one was too dirty

The Floris Surprise....not as advertised.

Pros: The breakfast was more than adequate. The breakfast room was very clean and the food was replenished as needed. However same menu every day.
Cons: Hotel is dated. Needs full. Guests should be placed only in renovated areas. Our room was next to one that was gutted and smell seeped in our hallway.
Location: Location not in the best area. Streets full of trash and lots of homeless people although they did not bother us. Location close to train a plus.
Overall the room was spacious. However there was only 3 clothes hangers in the armoire . there was a bit of a problem with the bathroom sink it filled quickly with water and did not drain fast enough. We also had to flush the commode several times before it would clear. The shower stall was dark as the light in the bathroom did not project to the shower and the curtain did not have weights to hold it down so that when showering one had to fight with the curtain. As for the towels they were once upon a time white and now more grey than anything and some were full bath towels while some were smaller and very thin . The towels at times also had a odd odor. The room came with 2 pillows on the bed with a 3rd in the armoire not sufficient. I can understand that this was a moderate room however better amenities should be included also the hair dryer was holding with tape. The window drapes were not all hooked properly on the track and were dragging onto the floor. We appreciated the pick up and delivery at the hotel for all the excursions we took.

Could be much better, especially in terms of removing the bad smell from the rooms

I liked the room we stayed in, we had a triple room, it was large, had three windows
