Hotel is right across from a mainline train/bus station so there are people hanging about all over the place. With that comes the dirtiness of people passing by and dumping their garbage about. Everyone really keeps to themselves and at no point was safety really a concern even with a toddler in tow. Also, why do hotel doors slam so hard?? How about a soft-close door so that you don't have the whole floor rumble every time some one leaves their room?!

It was very cozy inside the hotel however since it’s right by the station, there are a lot of homeless people and drug dealers that approached us when we entered and left the hotel asking us for money or to purchase from them

Bar was excellent. Room outdated and the bathroom smelled like cigarettes most of the time room 102 (maybe near where people smoke). TV oudated and no coffee or tea in rooms. Fan was not working in the toilet.

This was a great stay for a quick stop in Brussels. We were there for the day and wanted to stay close to public transport. This hotel is right across Brussels midi making it easy to arrive and depart. Also, there was bus and subs connections that take you centrally in just 4 stops. I really enjoyed the location and the courteous staff

Property is convenient for proximity to the train station as it is literally across the street. However, the baggage holding area is a coin-op paid locker space, having but 4 lockers available for ours and two other traveling pairs waiting in line. There was a man sleeping and begging in the street steps from the front door and a group of locals loudly aruging a few steps the other direction from the front entrance. We were a group of women traveling together and the hotel location was not one that provided a feeling of a safe welcome. It was nice the room had a triple room available, but arrival into our room there was a very strong smell (smoke or cleaning solutions?) with the room window standing open when we arrived. We did not utilize the breakfast option or other services at the hotel. Having a small drink and snack service for purchase at the reception was a nice feature to avoid going back out for a bottle of water.

This property is nice and convenient to the Brussels Midi/Zuid transportation center. The staff recommended a restaurant for dinner the first evening called Le Bistro which had a fabulous Beef Stew and Chicken breast with Mushroom sauce. Definitely worth the 10 minute walk.

Very noisy street and you can hear all as the windows are not sound proof. The rooms let say are clean but very dated stains on carpets but no dust so house keeping ok. Beds very comfortable. In the bathroom clean towels but black mould in the shower. Downstairs in the lobby nice bar where you can have a drink and food. You can store your loguage but it's not free between 3-6euro. Downstairs at the entrance there is a security all the time - I guess it's related to doggy people who are next to the entrance and near the hotel - this made us a bit uncomfortable and unsafe.

I am a tourist from Japan, and to be honest, the service and courtesy of the hotel staff are quite lacking. However, that's not the main reason for my negative review. While the indoor environment and dining area of the hotel are decent, the room itself had several issues. There were no security locks, and the shower towels had some blood stains, which was quite disturbing. Additionally, there were tiny cockroaches in the sink. For the price we paid, such low-quality service is unacceptable and can only be described as shoddy.

We stayed only one day to explore the beautiful city of Brussels, I should have stayed 2 more days. Very close to Brussels midi, staff was helpful. Room was clean, modern, big and comfortable. I’m a disabled person so I used the self controlled lift to avoid the stairs in the main entrance.

The rooms are not soundproof could hear the people in the next room and in the hallway like they were standing in the room right next to me. When we arrived there was tinfoil wrapped around the smoke detector that we had to request the staff to remove. The water for the shower never got above Luke warm if you can say it was luke warm, I would say cold just not freezing.
