Excellent location close to railway station.

Posted Oct 8, 2017
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.
Location: Close to railway station but you will need to walk to restaurants and the old city.
If proximity to railway station is important this is a great hotel for you, however the walk in to the old city was not the most pleasant. We could have taken a bus or taxi but prefer to walk as much as possible.

Booked hotel for close proximity to Midi Station

Posted Oct 6, 2017
It was our first experience staying in a Novotel Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the bright modern rooms at a reasonable cost. The residential area near the hotel and trian station was not great but it worked well for our one night stop over before catching Eurostar to London.

Good Hotel next to the station.

Hotel is fine, locates right opposite Brussel Zuid Midi Station. Walking distance to many restaurants and city centre. However the area its self is quite dirty, can describe as quite 'ghetto'. Doesnt feel safe walking in the evening. Overall the stay was comfy and staff were helpful when needed.

Only stayed one night and wanted to be near the Brussels-Zuid train station so this hotel served it's purpose. The service was good and the hotel is modern and clean but the surrounding neighborhood was not very nice.

Nice mid range hotel with excellent staff and quick service. Right across from the midi train station and very good connection to city center. Also could have walked to grand place- 15 min walk. We were able to store luggage for almost a full day after checking out in locked room, very nice!! Area outside midi station is a bit sketchy, hold on to your wallets and purses...hotel was good and cannot find anything wrong.

Very close to Midi Station

Posted Jul 2, 2017
Pros: Proximity to station. Good security for entry and elevator.
Cons: Advise room dimensions when booking so that clients can pay more for a larger room when traveling with a lot of luggage. More electrical outlets.
Location: Nice restaurants on the other side of the station. Walk about 20 minutes or 3 subway stops to touristic center.
Easy access to station but not for single woman late at night. Seems like you arrive in North Africa but this is common for a lot of major rail stations in Europe. Room size is more Ibis style and there are few electrical outlets. Hotel staff were excellent which made up for shortcomings.
