This place needs updating.

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: The exterior was clean-looking and neat. The couple managing the place are by far the best thing about this place.
Cons: Adding matching appliances so each room has a refrigerator and microwave. Removing safety hazards. Simplifying the tv set-up. Unifying the decor.
Location: Panguitch is a very lovely, quaint town. We were just staying one night on our road trip, but it was the most interesting town on our trip.
I want to begin with how cooperative the couple managing this place was. I feel their efforts must be very uphill considering the condition of the two rooms we booked, one for us and one for a friend. Our room had a microwave but no refrigerator. Our friend's room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The floor in our room was very uneven, and as my husband has Parkinson's, it was difficult for him to walk in the room. The television set-up is very complicated, and I had to call for assistance to get it on after trying numerous combinations. The manager came immediately and, maybe out of kindness, said the tv set-up was not motel-friendly or words to that effect. In our friend's bathroom, there was a section of marble paneling hanging down from the sink. During the night, that piece fell off. It was good she wasn't near it. The place seems to be a combination of some later improvements (we had carpet that appeared to be relatively new and was a nice neutral color) and some original details such as pink bathroom tile with maroon detailing. The tile was in good condition and everything was very clean. The rooms are all ground level, and there are not many of them. It was quiet.

Short drive to Bryce Canyon

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Motel is old and in need of some general maintenance such as shower head and faucet which would have improved the quality of our stay. The staff was friendly and the room and grounds were very clean.

Location: Sans intérêt.
Petit motel à l'ancienne bien situé. Il y a derrière une aire au bord de la route oû les enfants peuvent jouer et un abri couvert.

Very quiet, small old facility, but clean.

Pros: We liked the size of the motel, it's location on a principal state route.
Cons: Well it is a very old facility, but it seems to be kept up as much as possible.
Location: On State Route 89, restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores etc. near by.
Close to national parks, when we had contact with staff very attentive personnel and accommodating.

Good location to Zion & Bryce Canyon National Park

It is old, but it tries to keep up. Big room. Towels are newer and soft. Cleaning crews did excellent job, but they came so early. It wasn't big deal. When we went out for breakfast and came back to our surprise they were already in our room before nine o'clock.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Complete remodel
Faucet continually runs. Tiles missing in bathroom. Just an old run down motel that they do not maintain.

Billig Retro hotel
