"I wouldn't stay here again. Very disappointing. Staff were moody, did not want to engage in conversation, asking for directions was a huge inconvenience to them. Bedding was awful! The quilt cover felt like sand paper where it had babbled, I assume it might be very old! This needs to be looked at as a PRIORITY! Pillows were extremely poor. Not a comfortable stay. Wood frame of the bathroom door needs looking at all the paint is coming away, looks very cheap and nasty. Had 1 coffee pod when we checked in. We booked a room for 2 adults..... Very very noisy you can hear everything. Wouldn't recomend this hotel. Won't be returning. "

"The rooms are lovely & clean. Was in room 47 very large king size room with bath tub bathroom. Slept very well, despite noise at 6:30ish am from noisy neighbours. The are the staff are friendly and fantastic can’t do enough to help you. Downsides they do not serve breakfasts (which I think would be amazing if they did) and the hotel used to have a pool but they no longer has it as was filled in and turned into a gym. Easy access to Barry town and Barry island. Car park is small and on a slope and can get very busy. But if you are disabled and have a blue badge they put a sign out and reserve a space for you. "
