Location:
Mountain Hideaway is located a couple of miles from Bryson City. You can easily spend the day exploring many of the local attractions and still be minutes away from the cabin to retreat anytime you like. Bryson City has many small shops to explore as well as taking in an excursion on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. Its a small town full of friendly folk. Deep Creek is nearby, offering a beautiful location to picnic, hike, tube, explore waterfalls or just sit and breath in the clean mountain air. Cherokee is just a 10 minutes drive away. White water rafting on the Nantahala river is just 15 minutes away

Access road:
Cars and Most All vehicles- Paved and hard packed gravel sections on a well maintained mountain road, Switchbacks and moderate to steep incline sections possible, no washed out section.

Exterior:
The rustic style of this 1 bedroom cabin with sleeping loft makes this Smoky Mountain Hideaway the perfect vacation getaway spot. Located down a well maintained gravel road, Mountain Hideaway sits secluded on the edge of the woods overlooking one of the many breathtaking views you will find in the area. A covered front porch provides a relaxing atmosphere to share with friends and family. A porch swing and rocking chairs are on the front porch so you can relax and just enjoy the seclusion of the mountains overlooking the fire pit area. Plenty of outdoor space to chase a few fireflies, grill out on the charcoal grill and have a meal at the picnic table overlooking the view of the Smoky Mountains. A hot tub also awaits for evenings of lounging in the warm massaging waters and listing to the crickets chirp under the stars.

Entry level:
The entry level of this rustic style cabin brings you into a casual living room. Cozy seating with native touches invite you to relax and make yourself at home. Enjoy cool evening by the gas fireplace watching a movie on the satellite TV, or just gazing out the windows to the captivating view. This room is open to the kitchen and dining area making time spent together preparing meals even more enjoyable. Fully equipped with all you need to make dining in or grilling out a treat. The first floor bedroom has a cozy queen size bed that invites you to snuggle in after a busy day exploring the area. Comfortable bedding will make it hard to get up in the mornings, so plan on sleeping in! A full bath is also located on this floor.

Loft:
Open loft bedroom has a queen and twin size beds.

Pet Policy:
This cabin is PET FRIENDLY. If you are bringing a pet along for your visit, there is an ADDITIONAL $95 pet fee that must be added to your reservation after it is confirmed. We can add your pet fee to your reservation through a 'special request' on Airbnb once your reservation is confirmed, or you are welcome to pay the pet fee over the phone by calling our office anytime. There are maximum pet restrictions set by the individual cabin owners, so be sure to inquire what the restrictions may be for your cabin if you are planning to bring more than one pet with you.
