Stayed at this spot in early December 2023 for 5 days. This is NOT "City Center". It is about 600-700 meters from being central, down a dark road in a not-so-great neighborhood. I walked back in the evenings and did not feel safe. A lot of abandoned buildings and not well lit. The front desk staff... The two young men working there were very friendly and helpful. Great folks. There was a lady who worked a couple evenings at the front desk and was mean. For three of the five days, I did not have hot water. I did get the front desk (when they had a helpful person there) call maintenance. A young man came up and did something to fix it. He was very friendly and helpful. However, it was back to cold the next morning and the mean lady at the front desk was no help. Breakfast was great - no concerns there. Room was clean, warm, and taken care of. No worries there. Overall - would not recommend. It was a bit of a scary walk, the front desk was not always friendly, and there were significant issues with the hot water.

Professional Staff.
Great location. Close to city center. Close to public transport. The staff and management were amazing. Mini fridge in the room that you can fill on your own. Breakfast available but not other meals. Lots of restaurants around the location.

After a 3 night stay and I cannot say I have had a satisfying experience at this hotel. The morning after the 1st night I noticed some bug bites on me. I harmlessly assumed they were from mosquitoes or something. After the 2nd night the entire right side of my body was covered. This is side I sleep on and can only be from bed bugs. After this 2nd night I notified the front reception and they put us in a different room. After checking out after the 3rd night front desk asked us if we used anything from the minibar, which we replied with no. They said after this that it's compliments from them but we didn't use it and already checked out? Later that day we went back to collect our luggage and asked front reception to reimburse the tiny cost of medicine which was 60RON (20AUD or 13Euros). They told us that it is not possible for there to be bed bugs and they can't do anything to help... This is after putting us in a different room and being apologetic.

Dear Mr. Ruben Geisler, First of all, we want to thank you for choosing our location for your stay. Unfortunately we are sorry for your situation, however we strongly believe that is not about "mosquitoes or bugs" from our location, because: - First of all you stayed in the same bed with your girlfriend. She didn’t complain about any bites. How is this possible? - We change your room after 2 nights, why did you not came to report your situation after the first night? How is it possible to change your room and to have the same problem? - We did not have any situation like this before and you can check that on all reviews received on any reservation site. How is that possible right now? Regarding the minibar you did not understand correctly. The bottle of water which was on the desk was offered complimentary from our side with a message near the bottle. From time to time, we offer a bottle of water, chocolate or other small gifts to our guests. It was not about the entire minibar. In conclusion we recommend you to have a medical control before blame someone (you can have an allergy), because we repeat it’s strange that you stayed in the same bed with your girlfriend and mosquitoes or bugs chose to bite only you not your girlfriend also and then you request the money for the medicine bought for allergies (Claritine).. To put it friendly, the hotel has an excellent location (walking distance to the old town) & very good breakfast, however, the interior is a bit old. The lift is a fragile vehicle, the hotel room interior looks as it if has been there for many years, the bed cover linen was too small that couldn’t fit two people. We've reserved one of their most expensive suites which, obviously, doesn't get to be occupied too often so they don't bother to verify if everything is working properly. The air conditioning wasn't working, just the fan, which is not so pleasant when the temperature outside is over 40 degrees Celsius. The tub in the bathroom was clogged which made it almost impossible to have a decent shower and, not to forget, the room was facing the street Calea Mosilor which is a busy street, with street cars running there all night. Considering the average price level in Bucharest the cost for this kind of room is ridiculous. Obviously the management feels the proximity to the nearby old town justifies all that. If I have the chance, next time I will look for a diferent place.

Great hotel, staff are great. The area the hotel is located is not the great. The Tram runs beside the hotel and is vary loud and shakes the walls and floor. Walk a few blocks and it’s right in town and close to all

Hotel was RIGHT next to the tram which made a horrible noise till 11pm then started again at 5am !! Couldnt get any sleep at all. We will never stay here as it is a very small NOISEY hotel. Much better places to stay for the $ than here. Hotel should warn guest about the horribly noisey tram noise in thier descriptio. Dissapointing

We felt completely safe walking around during the day being tourists. ATM in the lobby gives LEI or EUR. Receptionist spoke good english. They have a bag check if u can't check in yet (but they tried!) and a small bathroom to change clothes. Very close to a lot of sites to walk to. Great air conditioning in the room! Yummy and filling breakfast.

The underground parkibg was convenient for parking. Both stsff memebers were accomidating to our needs. The accomodations were wonderful overall. The AC takes time to cool the room but that is expected. The Old Town of Bucharest was nearby with pleanty of restaurant choices.

Don't let the graffiti bother you.
Great location. Graffiti and run down buildings near by, but you walk around the corner to be in the city center. Felt very safe.

Enjoyable weekend.
A very clean hotel.Breakfast starts at 7am,but was still being assembled at 7.20.When you get up early for a day trip this is annoying.Party going on too late in the next room.,Rang reception at 3am and they stopped the noise,but that should have been done without my involvement.Hotel is located up a run down back street,not a nice walk back from the main streets.Everything else was fine,the staff are friendly and attentive.

The hotel is in a run-down part of the old town, about half a kilometre from the nicer parts of the old town which has restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. There aren't any restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity. The hotel itself is adequate. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in (a single room) was a good size and comfortable, but basic. The cleaner's black hair was noticeable on the bathroom floor every day, but she mostly did a good job. Breakfast, both the quality and the range, was poor. I was there for 3 nights and it was the same bread and ham every day. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only the reception, which is annoying. Overall this is a slightly above average hotel, certainly not what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. A bit disappointing.

3 star hotel with 5 star service.
5 star service at 3 star price. Hotel withinn walking distance to tourist attractions. Plenty of good and cheap restaurants in neighborhood, being near the university. Staff has very pleasant work attitude. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Bucharest.
